Doubted we'd find a table, night before completely booked, arrived before 5pm and was lucky to be seated. Greeted on entry and... helped immediately. Table to two near the bar. I believe they have outdoor seating on the west side but wasn't used, not sure.Server introduced herself and told us the specials. We ordered a house salad, carnitas and a chicken sandwich. Cocktails were ared sangria and a coconut cocktail I believe named the Humpty Dumpty. Both were excellent. Presentation is clearly important, lots of panache! House salad was nicely seasoned. Carnitas were a tad wet but the green chutney was very fresh, enjoyed thepickles onions. The chicken sandwich was nicely seasoned, the carmelized onions were a great garnish. Finished with the ricottabeignet, wonderful! We were asked about our experience and enjoyed sharing. Check out was smooth and farewells were shared bythe staff. Will go again. Read more

This is one of the best restaurants in Vancouver. A very classy upscale feel, in a casual setting. The staff are knowledgeable... and friendly, while the food was out of this world! They also have a massive drink menu, with an emphasis on gin. The cornfritter appetizer with maple butter is a must try! I really enjoyed the prawn linguine, with a wonderful white wine and garlicsauce. To top it off the manager delivered ricotta donuts, on the house, because it was our first visit. We are excited to trythe Hazel Dell location next! ?????????? Read more

Incredible craft cocktails paired by delightfully friendly staff made our first experience here memorable. I would say the food... is good but not outstanding, but what the menu lacks in food it makes up for in drinks. Honestly the best cocktail I?ve everhad. I will definitely be back for Happy Hour! And if it is your first time in, be sure to let your server know; they will guideyou through the menu, including their personal recommendations. Read more

Stopped in on our way to Portland for some late night appetizers. First off, great happy hour deals. Second, brought me a... chilled glass without having to ask. Third, YUM. Not disappointed at all. Ordered the seared ahi tuna avocado toasts and thepotato chips. Potato chips tasted fresh and homemade, the tuna was delicious. And the staff was so friendly. Very happy, wouldcome back if I was in the area! Read more

Have been meaning to stop in for some time and regret not stopping in sooner! What a cozy place with great food and drink in the... downtown Vancouver area. Visited during happy hour and was treated to a great burger off the menu. If I had only one gripe, itwould be that the patty was a bit thin. Otherwise it was flavorful, super juicy, and cooked to perfection. My wife had the friedchicken and corn fritters. The accompanying honey butter was super fabulous as was the BBQ sauce. Topped it off with a margaritaand late lunch was more than satisfying. Will be returning to try other menunoptions and more specialty cocktails. Read more

This place is one of the best places to go on a fancy date or to celebrate good news. I ordered the Kingston Falls cocktail and... it was probably the most delicious cocktail I've had in a while. And the Classic Fried Chicken MELTS in your mouth! It comeswith a honey butter and its pure perfection. 11/10 will recommend to everyone I know. Read more

One of downtown Vancouver tables that has an interesting location within an office building, Amaro's Table is a great place to... go for a variety of occasions. The night we dined was on New Year's Eve evening. Though they were busy, the turnaround timeand availability of seating wasn't too bad. Our server provided great information and gave us wonderful recommendations. Wegot several appetizers that were tasty. Their homemade potato chips and house made ricotta with figs were good things to startoff. My main of the beef tenderloin medallions was overall a good dish. The beef was cooked well, however it looked like therewas a timing issue as my potatoes and asparagus weren't warm at all. I would've sent these items back, but since I knew itwould cause my beef to be re-heated and possibly overcooked, I just dealt with it. Overall, Amaro's is a good place to go tofor a date, small gathering, or just somewhere to spend time for a good meal. Depending on the night, I would recommend areservation, though the wait wouldn't be too bad, better to be safe than sorry. Read more
