Wow, where do I begin. Stopped in for breakfast based off of numerous recommendations from friends, neighbors and Google reviews... and so glad we did! Our meals were outstanding especially the biscuits and gravy hands down some of the best I've ever eaten!!Stephanie our server was beyond awesome! Can't give her enough credit for being a true professional! The bar definitely has thiskind of honky tonk vibe. I can't wait to come see a live show in the near future. Read more
I love the food at Billy Blues. First time we came it was very busy and we got served right away. This time it was not very... busy. We had to ask for service. Our waitress Rachel seemed preoccupied with other things. We did get our food quickly and itwas excellent. We had to stand up an DF ask for our checks. Bartender told Rachel that we were ready. She continued herconversation with other waitress for a few minutes. She came and took my card and disappeared for approx 5 minutes which made mevery nervous because she rang up my friend right at bar. Tired of the grouchy guy that answers the phone most of the time that doesn?t ever seem thankful you are ordering from their... restaurant when others are available. You aren?t doing me a favor, Im doing you one BB by SUPPORTING a local business. Be alittle grateful dude. We continued to order through Billy Blues throughout the pandemic to support them, but their prices don?tmatch quality anymore. Nothing has seemed consistent, something always missing, yea, I know, ?supply chain? shortage? (so tiredof that) if you can?t properly make a menu item, DO NOT OFFER IT, and don?t charge me more for less than what is expected. Imean bacon is available for the up charge for my burger, but mysteriously not available for a Cobb salad? We said 2x ago, wewere done with the take out orders, now we are. Done and Done. Read more
I really tried to like this place due to the high positive reviews. Perhaps we just came on the wrong day. My bf and I came last... week Friday and we ordered the clam chowder, he ordered the taco nacho salad, & I got the baked fish dinner (due to the server'srecommendation). Service was a bit slow, but to be fair there were two large parties and some other tables that came at thesame time so it looks like we arrived during the dinner rush. Service wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. The reason for the2 stars is the lack of quality with all of our meals. The clam chowder was overly thick and creamy that I could not finish it.The meat from the taco nacho salad was very dry and the overall dish lacked a lot of flavor. The baked fish and the mashedpotatoes was very bland. The mashed potatoes just looked like a baked potato that was peeled. Honestly with our dinner bill tobe about 70+ dollars and the high reviews of the place, we expected better and left very disappointed. We were thinking ofprobably talking to our server to see if our meals would be comp but since we did not receive much attention, we decided to justfinish what we can. The atmosphere/vibe seemed really chill though. We do like the multiple screen tvs on the walls withdifferent sports that were on. Came here for Father?s Day at 3pm. Food was great. Had the Gorgonzola steak pasta. Everything came out piping hot! Last summer... they re-did they patio and it?s large with cushy patio chairs! Sunshine and shade! They even have hip succulent wall plants:) Check their calendar for live music too! Half of the building is a bar with pool table, and other half is sit downrestaurant with tables and booths, along with sports on several TVs. Lighting is ambient. They have weekend brunch as well andthe biscuits and gravy are my favorite from any restaurant in HD or Salmon Creek. You can get some pretty decent biscuits andgravy from the two bakery?s we have, but I don?t think they are quite as big. One of those places where 90% of the customers appear to be regulars as well as appearing to be relaxed. One of those places... where it's always dark even at the height of summer, at noon, on a cloudless day, on a weekend. At the moment, it's quiet, butgathering from the stage, I suspect that is not always the case. Well, that's kind of a relief, crowds make ne nervous and a lotof noise interferes with my taste buds. And that's why I'm here... for the food. Hmmm, the Alfredo looks good. but I am temptedby the onion rings which are an upgrade with the sandwiches so I go for the Club and it's quite a sight! Built like a beaverdam, logical and ordered, yet jumbled and diverse. Things are looking good and the onion rings look like they were clipped outof a food magazine. First off, the onion rings are perfect! Why in the world would anyone choose tots or fries when they couldhave this paragon of culinary allium, this concentric concept of deep fried tears? Crunchy and soft, brown and not burned, theyalone are a good enough reason to come back. The club sandwich, although just a touch daunting rewards my first tentative bitewith a flood of smoke. You know, it's one of those guy things that probably harken back to neanderthals sitting around in frontof their caves waxing philosophic and smoking the days wooly mammoth. That is, smoking meats... Not like rolling a fat one andsmoking that. I can't tell exactly where that smoke is coming from, I thought at first it was the bacon, but although the baconis crisp, thick, and savory, I don't think that's it. Maybe the Chicken or the Ham? Wherever it's coming from, it bumps up thatdecent Club Sandwich and makes it memorable. Like a beautiful woman wearing some captivating scent. So far, I've only been able to order takeout from Billy Blues, but the food is great! I would highly recommend their Alfredo... pasta, which is some of the best I've had in town. You can add customizations to it, such as chicken, or change the sauce tomarinara. It comes with some tasty garlic bread that you can dip, and a side of soup or salad. I'd love to try eating insomeday, seems like an exciting place. Read more
Great place! We went at Halloween. So much fun with a costume party and excellent live music. Even being super busy, the service... was great. I had the Southwest burger and SPOOKY Lemon drop mixed drink. Both were fabulous ???? My table ordered many othermenu items, and everyone was pleased with it all. Definitely give this place a try.
