This place was okay. The staff was amazing! They were all so friendly and inviting. The food on the other hand was just fine. My... wife and I each got a steak. We thought they were cooked correctly initially, but they were underdone. There wasn't much flavoras well. It was difficult to cut the steaks too since our knives were pretty dull. The salad's we're good along with theappetizer. Just needs a complete overhaul of the quality of the food. We would have rather grilled our own steaks, sadly. Read more
Meal was great and cooked to perfection. Oddly enough they have you cut into your steak as they serve you to see if it's to your... satisfaction. They bring you bread, offer you cheesy garlic bread.. It's not the same. We tried their delicious potatoe skinsand I ordered their 18 ounce bone-in ribeye...Being from cattle country Montana. I'm not sure more like 12oz. It was stilldelicious. Read more
Wow where do I begin this is like taking a time machine back to the old Stuart Anderson's Cattle Company of the 80's and 90's.... My steak was a perfect medium-rare and the barbecued shrimp were cooked to perfection. They have gluten-free options for mealsand desserts with a decent wine selection. If possible make sure to make a reservation they're shorthanded and our server wasworking extremely hard. All in all a tasty and pleasant experience. Read more
Recently met friend here at Black Angus after not coming here for more than a decade. I forgot how large and sprawling this... restaurant was. Seating area is large with well spaced tables and a very comfortable almost cavernous setting. I ordered steakand lobster for dinner. Steak was well prepared ribeye steak. Lobster was just OK...a bit dry and bland. Mac and cheese side andsalad were both very tasty. Bread is served with meal was also good. Service was excellent--Caitlin was the best. While visiting some family out west, my husband's grandfather suggested coming here for our last night in town. We made... reservations and we got there a little early. However, we were not able to get seated early but we did get seated right ontime. Their apps were super tasty! The potato skins with sour cream were tasty and spinach artichoke dip came very hot! It wasa smaller amount than I would have expected but was good! The table split the combos, which come with one app, a main for eachand 2 sides for each. What a deal!! The sides were huge and the side salad could have been a meal on its own! We ordered oursteaks medium rare, but were more medium. Also, the same kind of steak had by three of us were various sizes andthickness. Dessert was brought but we had to take it home because of how full we were! Our server was awesome. She checked on us regularly. The food was great. My granddaughter and I had the 68.00 share a meal. You... get 2 entrees, 2 sides and dessert. I had the prawns and she had the ribeye steak. Both were excellent. The hot fudge chocolatecake was the bomb. They have several desserts to choose from if you don't like chocolate cake.
