Reviews for Costa Vida in Vancouver, WA

I had never eaten at a Costa Vida previously, and did not, from personal experience, know what to expect. My daughter and her... family filled me in some before we went out to eat and I had managed to form an idea of what the chain was supposed to be. I wasnot disappointed, but neither was I pleasantly surprised by anything about the restaurant or the experience. So for managing tomeet my basic expectations for food quality, flavor, and menu options, as well as staff behavior and restaurant cleanliness. Therestaurant earns a solid three stars. That is the beginning point for my ratings. From there, stars are added when somethingabout the experience surprises me in a good way. When I'm disappointed, stars are lost. Read more

Service was good but this was the worse food I have had in a long time. The Baja bowl tasted like bbq sauce was mixed into the... rice with no flavor on the chicken. Then the steak taco literally had steak and lettuce, no spices and no sauce. For $18 Icould have gotten a much better meal anywhere else. Hands down the worse place I have ate at in 2022. Read more

This place is a serious rip off. The menu prices listed on the driver through are not even near correct. Got a 2 taco meal... today, menu said it was $10 and some change. It came out to $14.09. the amount of beans you get is poor for the price. Foodwas at least good, i will give them that. I do not recommend this restaurant. Read more

Paid for 3 entrees and they give me a bag with one small bowl! After three people were involved someone went "in the back" and... they brought the correct order. NO apologies, serious faces, not even "can I offer you a glass of water while you waiting?" Now, I don't really expect extra food, or a super-sized portion as an apology from a chain... food enterprise, but you canoffer at least a sincere "so sorry" or a glass of water, juice to a customer that you did wrong. Now the food. Wilted salad (1leaf cut in 3-4 pieces) refried beans from the can with a salt content higher than the Dead Sea, two anemic enchiladas with meatfrom the can probably, judging by the saltiness and a little bit of rice on the bottom ( a very thin layer) all this beinglukewarm. I really hope they didn't spot in my bowl. Now I wonder why it was so empty, inside and at the drive-thru! Read more

Horrible, charged me 14$ for beans and rice, the place had a serious attitude and the rice I paid 10 dollars a pound for was... crunchy under cooked. Yuck avoid this place, complete ripoff Read more

The sweet pork burrito is fantastic! When they sweet they really mean it. The sweet pork is absolutely delicious. The size of my... burrito was really really big and full of flavor. The lettuce and pico side was just okay. I could live without it but thatburrito will have me coming back many times to come. I feel like the Baja was a full as it should be compared to the price. Ittasted great but wasn?t much there. Specifically when compared to the burrito. But still very good place to try if your in thearea! Read more

Good but expensive. This chain uses good ingredients similar to Baja Fresh. They're really big on everything being in tin pans.... There doesn't appear to be any ala carte offerings. Regardless of tacos, burrito or enchiladas, they all come with filler (rice+ beans) and cost 10 bucks. We paid $22.75 for a burrito and a bowl. That's a bit steep for drive-thru. Having said that mysteak with pinto bean bowl was really good. I appreciated being able to forgo the tortilla. I really liked the enchilada sauce. Read more
