Went to firehouse subs a number of times with wife and mother-in-law. We always loved it. Hyped it up to my son better than... Subway. Finally went there with my son. What a mistake. We both ordered a Steak and cheese and it was one of the worst subsI've ever eaten. Smothered in excessive mayonnaise and whatever else. Big sloppy tasteless mess. Didn't look appealing or tastegood. If this were my first experience I would never recommend this place based on this sandwich. I may or may not give itanother try. As for my son, he'll stick to subway. Read more

Very very rude. They did not have tea or meatballs. The only saving grace was the nice manager. The employees kept giving me... dirty looks like it was my fault the did not have the stuff together. I also forgot to mention the 3big bosses sitting on therebutt when all this was going on. One man even made eye contact with me after I got done talking to the manager. Read more

I was getting my tires rotated at discount tire and saw firehouse subs in the distance. "Wonder if Firehouse subs is still... overpriced and mediocre" I thought to myself as I walked past what I knew would suck at Sonic. After visiting firehouse, I canaffirm they are indeed extremely mediocre and still just as expensive as the other 3 times I've been in the last decade. Ican't say I won't be back. It wasn't offensive or anything. It just wasn't the best way to spend 15 dollars on lunch for oneperson. Assuming my previous trend for eating here holds, I'll give em another try in 2025 if humanity is still surviving andreport back. Read more

Can't tell if there's some sort of meat rind in my sandwich or long stringy plastic from the meat packaging maybe? I've never... had it happen getting subs here before but it made me lose my appetite. It's a shame given how pricey the food is, I don't getfirehouse very often and I don't think I'll be going back to this location. Read more

Excellent food, served reasonably quickly. While unusual not to hear what I would call normal when I would walk into a firehouse... subs location and hear the all too familiar "welcome to firehouse!" chorus from all the employees it seems to be a thing of thepast. I haven't heard it at either Vancouver location we have visited to date, and hope it will make it's way back..always madeit feel even more inviting and friendly inside. Everything was well cleaned and labeled, drink machine was spotless as well. Read more

We went to Firehouse sub for a birthday sub. The person that helped us was over-the-top friendly. Very knowledgeable about the... menu as well as the history of the franchise. My sandwich was very tasty as was the other sandwich. I would highly recommendthis location and will be returning. Read more

Duane at the counter was amazing. So helpful and friendly. Helped with our options, stopped by our table to see how we liked our... choice, cleared our table and even held the door as we left. Not many people like him. Food was really good. Had the steak suband tasted the Jamaican jerk sub. Both were awesome. Can?t go wrong with either. Plan on returning. Try if you have only drivenby. Pretty darn good subs! I eat here a couple of times a month and usually get the Italian or the Steak & Cheese! The only reason... for 4 stars is the making of the sandwiches is a little slow., but worth the wait for great tasting subs. Read more
