The atmosphere and decor are really nice- it's obvious that the owners are dedicated to recognizing community members who have... served in the military, police force, and fire fighters. However, there are also heavy influences related to both politics andreligion. Staff and service are decent, prices are good, but the food isn't great. With all that in mind, I'd recommend checkingout other BBQ options in the area before trying Goldie's. Read more
Really enjoyed our dinner here. We got a half pound of brisket and sausage and a half rack of beef ribs, Mac, beans, hush... puppies, and chicken strips with fries for our daughter. All the food was delicious. Love the vibe on the inside and theemployees all seemed genuinely friendly. I?ll say the bbq sauce wasn?t my personal favorite style but I liked it nonetheless andthe smoke flavor especially in the ribs was everything I wanted. We will for sure be back and try more items on the menu. Read more

Some of the Best Texas BBQ I've had in WA state so far! Excellent Pork Ribs, Pulled Pork, Potato Salad, Coleslaw, and Collard... Greens and they gave me a sample of their Brisket and it was excellent! Very Military friendly with lots of military photos,military items, and American patriotic items that decorate the whole restaurant. To include a blast from the past printedcharcoal portrait of an old woman with super detailed wrinkles hanging on the wall that an old high school friend of minecreated back in high school Art class together. The artist original name was "Amanda Gipson"and we graduated Kelso High in June2004, but she legally changed her name now to "Arakai Moon" back in 2011 and conducts astrology videos and readings on YouTubeunder her current name! This place is Awesome. Authentic Texas BBQ, come for the brisket, stay for the pork ribs. These folks are genuine, wonderful and... I stop here every trip through Vancouver, Wa. Had the 3 meat combo brisket, spicy sausage and pulled pork with side of fried okra and coleslaw. The meats had a nice smoke... taste that didn't overwhelm the meat The coleslaw was just coleslaw nothing special. The fried okra was awesome, nice crisp andflavorful. Read more
Decided to pop in for lunch, did a plate. Plate features two meats of your choice (or three for a tiny bit more) and two sides.... I opted for brisket, pulled pork, potato salad and Mac & cheese. Service was quick, I got a lot of food for what I paid for,and everything was decent. Interior was interesting, but cool to say the least. Lots of appreciation for service men andwomen. Brisket was okay, decent but not my favorite. Seemed a little dry, like it had been in the smoker for too long and hot.Pulled pork was really good, no complaints here. Potato salad was decent. Mac was great. Would try again. Don?t think I?ll dothe plate again unless I?m splitting with someone, insane amount of food. Read more
