Truth be known, I'm not a huge fan of Tex/Mex Americanized food. Los Alambres did not change my mind. I ordered the iconic... signature dish, the Alambres. I also ordered the horchata as my drink. I've never eaten an Alambres before but this meal wasserved with 9 soft ???? corn tortillas. Alambres is meat fried with peppers and onions and covered with cheese. The flavor wasjust OK, not bad but not great. Not spicy but there are several sauces that are available to kick up the heat. The overwhelmingnegative to this and most Tex/Mex foods , IN MY OPINION, is the greasiness.......and unfortunately Alambres was no exception. I'm home as I write this and it feels like a lead weight sitting in my gut. I've got the gut rumble happening as I write this.Uh oh. The meat itself had too much grease and with cheese melted over the top of the meat, the grease factor was over thetop. The horchata rice drink was tasty but too sweet. I've had horchata several times before both in America and all over Mexico. The flavor was definitely good but again just too sweet. Los Alambres service was excellent...you order at the counter, pay , and then they bring your food to the table. Food was brought to the table promptly. Price was reasonable. Easy access off ofMill Plain with plenty of parking. Ambiance is strip mall basic and functional. Handicap ?? doable. Final take....just OK if youare a fan of Tex/Mex food. Read more

This is a keka and they are a Mexico City specialty. It's like a Oaxacan cheese quesadilla mated with a taco. Their Al Pastor is... traditional as well, roasted on a spit, which is what I always get here. You need this in your life. Also their horchata. Read more

Tacos were good. Order was messed up, paid for carne assada burrito. Not sure what I got but wasn't carne assada and the meat... (maybe pastor) did not have very much. Same with the torta wasn't the meat we ordered. Staff was nice and restaurant was clean Read more

Not bad. For 15$ after tax I got the quesotaco's. It's a small amount of food for the price, but at the same time it is very... heavy, cheese, meat and grilled tortillas. The tacos were birria, beef not goat. The flavor of the birria spices were not verystrong, but overall had a good flavor. The main problem just was the consome, which was very watery. They gave me a giant thingof it, but had very little flavor, it was just making my tacos wet instead of adding delicious flavor. I would love to see just10% of that, but much much thicker. There red salsa was very spicy, wish I woulda used that instead of the consome. It wasspicy, but good. Read more

Always get a miserable amount of chips and salsa lol very stingy. Also the ladies at the front taking your order are always... rude. The food is pretty good but the customer service is trash if I find a better taco place in Vancouver I probably won?t becoming back. Read more

What a real gem we have here in Vancouver. Fresh food with an amazing staff, and plenty of authentic Mexican offerings on the... menu. From birria to frescas, the food is beyond great. Flavors and freshness in check, and the staff is more than helpful whenyou're not sure about a menu item. Great value, too, as prices don't break the bank. Overall, a great place to check out for anytime of the day and you will be served quickly. Rapido! Read more

One of the better Mexican joints in Vancouver. Small eatery in a strip mall. Think Muchas Gracias but much better chow. There... are several meats to choose from. The pastor pork and suadero beef were my favorites. Four hot sauces. The machete is the mostnovel dish. We will be back. Read more
