Got wonderful, above and beyond service from Amy today for my husband and me. Just because of her we will be coming back again. The drinks and food we ordered were very well prepared as well. Husband had the Cubano in the picture.

Stopped in on a local craft beer event for dinner and am so impressed. Friendly, attentive service. Fantastic vibe. Excellent beer selection. Did I mention the food? Omg the roasted salad and mac n cheese was a great combo. Everything was just delightful. ? will visit again.

Met the owner? she is amazing. Had incredible beer. Had the 2nd most delicious burger I?ve ever had? the High-5 Burger? this is a delicious treat with parmesan, savory beef patties grilled to perfection. Just an amazing environment. Fun conversation, great beer, and delicious food is the perfect trio.

Wasn?t planning on going to Mav?s Tap House. I was downtown and the place I was heading to was closed, but I had already paid for parking so I googled ?lunch near me? and Mav?s popped up right around the corner. Beer is not my thing and I am never sure I?m welcome in a place where profit is based on drinking, but hey, the meter is running. No waiter, just the poor bartender running the place. I order at the bar and the guy is very friendly and eager to help so I order a basic burger and fries. The fries are thin and crispy and the burger is spot on. I love the grilled crispy cheese on top, it?s a perfect little touch that I?ve never seen before. Bravo! The Bartender goes out of his way to make sure I?m happy so I?m going to drop all my existential pretentions and say, yes, he made me happy. Oh happy chance! Mav?s Tap House is on the list for places to go before a good movie at The Kiggins (which is right around the corner).

Undoubtedly the best overall food and drink experience I've had in the local area. An easy recommendation for anyone looking for a diverse beer selection or outstanding food creations. I've had nothing but enjoyable interactions with every member on the team (that I've met). Elliot, Thaddius, Lynnsey, Jack, and Ricky (hopefully I spelled all of those correctly) have all provided friendly service and meaningful conversations. The owner, Calista, has taken time out of her busy day to listen and provide helpful advice for my business. Beer is poured with care and the crew works as a team to make sure that everyone is taken care of properly. The food at Mav's is way out of the league of any other bar/tavern/taphouse or the like that I've eaten at. After speaking with one of the chefs, Paul, it's clear why. He has worked at other notable restaurants in the past and is given creative freedom to both source quality ingredients and craft the static menu and daily specials. I've tried almost every meal they have put out and am floored every time by both the presentation and balance. The dishes are often quite complex but manage to avoid being overly pretentious, and the serving sizes range from above average to oversized (the Machete Quesadilla is huge!). Regarding the beer selection, it's a breath of fresh air given that most tap lists I've encountered are 90% IPAS. At Mav's, IPAs constitute less than half of the menu, and you'll often find rather unique brews that aren't often on tap elsewhere. Rice Lagers, ESB's, Kolsch's, Pilsners, and plenty of interesting Sours can be found rotating. Every time I come back, there's something new worth tasting. This place deserves more recognition than it has already earned. Do yourself a favor and drop by, you'll have a hard time being disappointed.

An absolute hidden gem! Family friendly taproom with a host of hard to find craft beers on tap, pinball room, open patio and a chef driven pub menu! This might just have become my first and last stop when visiting Washington!

Appreciated meeting and talking to the own Calista Crenshaw. Enjoyed sitting in the center courtyard with the family. Had the Mav Burger which flavor wise is delicious. Would have probably asked for more onions or cheese to moisten it up bit. BBQ sauce did the trick for me. Cooked with pink may have helped. Was thinking the pork belly was a topping but I believe it's in the mix and it blended well. We cleaned up our Dirty fries. Nice take on cheesy fries with peppers and crispy pork belly. Not a big taphouse drinker personally but The pilsner was pretty good, and the The Cider was good. Mac and cheese was a good combo of Stringy and creamy. Cool to see old school arcades and pinball room on site. Overall good experience. We expect to be back.
