I recently went to Italy with my family and this place brought back all those amazing food memories. The pizza was fabulous. So... much like what we had in Naples. ??? Read more

I heard about this place from a friend and went there immediately. The pizza was fantastic. Fresh tomatoes, flavorful cheese,... and the crust is thin and chewy and crusty, yet somehow melts in your mouth. It was an amazing combination. Most pizza saucesare loaded with onions or garlic or pepper, and this sauce is just fresh tomato flavor. It was perfect. The focaccia was softand warm and very very tasty. The cheesecake was some of the best I've tasted at a restaurant. The Margarita pizza did notdisappoint. We couldn't have asked for a better pizza, really. We had the babba for dessert as well as the cheesecake. The babbawas very interesting. Rum soaked brioche with Italian pastry cream. It was beautiful. I loved the presentation of the espresso, however, a better roast and pull would have brought it up to the level of the meal. It was strong, but burnt and bitter. Witha better espresso shot, and a creamy Italian gelato, an affogato would finish perfectly with the meal. As heavenly as thecheesecake is, I bet they could do an amazing tiramisu. Very pleased with this hidden gem of a place, and I'm so glad we triedit. We will be back and will tell all our authentic pizza seeking friends. Read more

My husband and I were very excited to try this place because of the great reviews. We are on a super strict healthy eating way... of life and today we were giving ourselves a break and going to eat some pasta! We left feeling a bit let down and sad that weused our cheat day here. When we walked in we were greeted immediately and the staff were very friendly. We were seated rightaway and the service was prompt throughout. The restaurant had a nice clean feel to it and overall good atmosphere. I orderedthe special which is the meatball dish and my husband the pasta with seafood. My son had a kids cheese pizza. Sadly my pasta hadzero flavor. It seemed like it was just pasta noodles with canned sauce. The meatballs were dry and had very little flavor.Overall it was just a let down. My husband said the pasta in his dish was flavorless but the seafood was good. My 5 year oldenjoyed his pizza just fine. We both agreed that maybe we should have just gone for the pizza. Not sure if we will try themagain. The service was great though and just very friendly people. Read more

Heard that this was the place to go for great Italian food. We had pizza in kind and it did not disappoint. Ordered two kids... pizzas and one regular size with eggplant. Crust was perfect and fresh ingredients gave the flavor profile that signatureItalian taste. We enjoyed the octopus salad and finished things off with special desserts recommended by the staff. Speaking ofthe staff, what a pleasant experience we had as we were met with smiling faces and great service. Will be coming back for moregoodies from here on out. Next adventure will involve some of their pasta offerings. Read more

I?d heard from others that this was the ?best pizza in Vancouver? so obviously we had to try it out. And so far, of the pizza... places I?ve tried here, I would have to agree! Pizza was fantastic, but the mac & cheese from the kids menu may have been thebest mac & cheese I?ve ever had. The cannolis were delicious as well. I almost took a star off because service did take a reallylong time and it took a while to get our food, but I think a lot of restaurants are struggling right now with having enoughstaff. So as long as you plan to have some nice long conversations with the people you?re with, you?ll love it here! Read more

My husband I came here for a celebratory birthday dinner, and it was the perfect fit for the occasion! Friendly and warm... atmosphere, and the staff were all incredibly helpful in answering questions and giving personal recommendations. We split twopizzas, and had a little left to take home. Both the Diavola and the Prosciutto & Arugula (with added burrata) were deliciousand so flavorful! The crust was the perfect combination of crispy on the outside and fluffy/chewy on the inside. We can?t waitto go back and try some of the pasta and gnocchi dishes! Read more

This is by far the best Italian restaurant in Vancouver. I have been to Naples and the food at La Sorrentina reflects the... culture, experience and tastes I had in Naples. You will NOT be disappointed. I have tried many different pizzas and pastas herebut the Gnocchi is a classic that will always be my favorite. Tastes just like the one I had in Sorrento. Read more

Ordered the pepperoni pizza pictured. Added smoked mozzarella as well. The fresh and tangy sauce combined with a bite from the... pepperoni folded into wood fire grilled crust and you have a 5 star pepperoni pizza all day long. Delicious, a bit on the priceyside but worth the extra for such a memorable slice. Taste buds are ready for more more more. Read more
