Great spot! Happy friendly employees make it even better. Beer choices change often. Pizza is big & thick but airy and light so... everyone will enjoy, and they are willing to work with you to adjust/add/subtract ingredients if needed. Not cheap but you get alot for the money!!! Awesome place. Pizza was excellent. Beers were fantastic. Traditional beers that all were fresh and tasty. Pizza is traditional... Detroit style crust. Very fluffy but not heavy. Sauce was robust and flavorful. Everything Made with quality ingredients. It wasa bit busy in there when we went but everything came out in a timely manner. Pizza is all made fresh to order. Very attentivestaff making sure everyone had what they wanted. When I want Pizza and great beer I\'m definitely going to be stopping here fromnow on. Read more
This is such a great pizza place and brewery! The Detroit style pizza is the perfect ratio of crust to pizza and the flavor... combinations are out of this world. Their version of a Hawaiian (The North Coast) has a jalapeño jelly and it is so good! Itisn\'t too spicy but it adds a great flavor to compliment the sweet pineapple and the savory ham. Their pilsner is tasty andtheir smoothie ale tasted just like a blackberry pie filling! Read more
Plenty of cheese and a fluffy thick crust. We ordered three pizzas for our group and all were delicious. Indoor seating was easy... to find though the patio can get full on summer evenings. The beer selection was great, too. The wine selection is very limited.Service was wonderful and prices were reasonable. Read more
I do have to confess I’m more of a thin crust pizza person, but my husband loves thick crust and so he really enjoyed this... thick Detroit style pizza. I liked mine too! I did think the bbq pizza would have benefited from an additional zestyflavor…maybe some more onions? All the flavors just kind of blended. Pizzas seemed a little expensive for one person but theportions are huge. We ended up taking about half a pizza home per person. Read more
Always have been a fan of Ruse beers so when I heard they had this pizza spot opening up I had to go. It’s small and on the... waterfront so it’s packed most of the time. The pizza is some of the best I’ve ever had. My wife is gluten free and shesaid this was the best gluten free crust she ever eaten and she’s really picky about her pizza crust. Their pizza is amazing. I’m from Detroit and grew up on that style of pizza before it was even called “Detroit style”. ... But these guys take it to the next level with super-creative recipes and high-quality ingredients. Hands-down some of the bestpizza in the Portland metro area. The crust is perfect! And of course, they have excellent beer.\n\nI tried 4 different pizzas- all were excellent, but my favorites? It’s a toss-up between the Barbecue Chicken and the Double Vision.\n\nThey have greatappetizers as well - the black garlic Caesar and the beets with burrata were really impressive.\n\nI’ll know I’ll be makingthe 30-minute drive up there many times in the near future. Good but sometimes inconsistent. We ordered turnpike and north shore again and noticed they added a dollop of marinara on top of... each slice when they didn\'t previously. Although it makes the pizza less dry and reminds us of our love for Chicago pizza, itwasn\'t as good for takeout since the marinara gets cold easily and doesn\'t reheat well.
