The food was VERY, VERY good. I went out on a limb and ordered something I've never tried or heard of and I am so, so happy that... I did. It was called the Thai basil special and it was there special for the month of October. My wife and kids all orderedtheir own meals as well and all were fantastic. Highly recommended this place especially considering my daughter is CELIAC andthis place tends to those needs. Atmosphere is as good as one could expect but the food speaks volumes. Read more

This review is 3 weeks overdue!!! We have been looking for great Thai places after our relocation to Vancouver. We tried this... place on a Friday afternoon!! Amazing service, delectable taste and hearty portions! Young lady, Sheri??? - on the phone wasextremely courteous and cheerful - despite us requesting changes to our pick up time twice. This is definitely our go-to place!Thank you Thai Wok Kitchen Team! Read more

This restaurant is super awesome! Legitimately one of the best curry fried rice dishes I have tried in the Vancouver area. They... perfectly mix the flavors of curry spices into the rice and chicken, along with the herbs and green onions. I wish they put alittle bit more chicken, but that's okay! The dish stood well on its own, don't even need the extra protein for taste. Serviceis also really nice, and fast. Small place, but a good amount of space to sit, and it's fairly clean. I definitely want to comeback for more lunch specials! Read more

They literally made me pay a $1 for this cuz I asked for another wedge of lime for my order. They are always so rude when you... ask for a wedge of lime just seems unnecessary to me. I like their food but the lime thing always confuses me. I would go a lotto eat in with friends and they would always deny us anything more than 2 small wedges of lime for the table. They said theycan?t give us more every time. It?s just weird I?m not asking for a lot I just like lime in my Phad Thai. Read more

UPDATE: Thai Wok Kitchen continues to remain fabulous and the food remains the best in Vancouver. Dining in is back to normal... with beautiful presentation and nice dishware and silverware. The service continues to be excellent. Especially Nita!???????????? Excellent service, cheerful and friendly. Fresh, delicious, excellent food. My favorites are the larb gai and phadthai. Beautiful presentation, fantastic taste. The place is small and not fancy, but the booths are private and comfortable.Really, this place can't be beat. Read more

Whisper it on the wind in quiet subdued tones, call it from the highest peaks whipped by chilled winds! Those two magic... syllables, Curry! Like a prayer on a cold day or a song on a full moon, Curry! Hurry for Curry! Specifically PeanutCurry! Portioning carefully into white rice, the careful balance so you don?t end up with leftover rice or god forbid, leftovercurry. A good bit of bite, but not overpowering, a delicate crunch to the veggies, savory and slightly sweet, and mostimportantly, a little brittle crunch to the roasted peanuts. Why do I always break out in a sweat when eating curry? Thankfulfor the mild Lime balanced tea, thankful for the good service and the peaceful space to settle into my lunch and listen to agood book, not The Good Book, just a good book with a good narrator. Good food and a good story, Vancouver may be missing a lotof things, but good Thai is not one of them. Read more
