One of our favorite local restaurants. Old school Italian, Anna?s Crab Cakes, Stuffed Shells, Braciola, Lasagna, Gnocchi, etc,... etc can?t be beat. Her waitstaff have been with her forever, and everyone is friendly, going out of their way to make yourevening enjoyable. Read more
First time here and not impressed. Service is very slow, prices are a bit high and the menu is small, about a dozen items and... no chicken parm. What kind of Italian restaurant did not have this?!?!? I ordered gnocchi without sauce and only butter on theside so I didn't get the meatball that was supposed to come with it. They didn't even take some money off. Their drinks arecans of pop at $2 each and rich got 2. The waitress walked past our table numerous times and didn't even look at us or noticethe empty glass for a refill. When we asked for a take out container, she came back with that and our check and then asked usif we wanted dessert. We will not go back and do not recommend. Oh and was very noisy and cold! I wasn't impressed with the service at first, but then the waitress got better. I ordered wedding soup that looked like chicken... noodle soup cause there were no meatballs in it. The waitress was so nice and went and got me some to add to my soup. As for thefood, it was excellent..homemade too! I had cheese raviolis, they were stuffed! Aside from the rambunctious children in the restaurant I had a fine experience. The lasagna was a great dish however I wouldn't... make the 30 minute trip out of my way again for it. Such a beautiful place, very romantic feeling. Wonderful staff but our food was not good. So overcooked and not tasty. We... probably won't be back. I'm Italian, married an Irish man, I cook better food. It was missing the flavors Italian dishes need.My husband was upset we paid that much for food that wasn't any good. Read more
