Food was freshly made. What we had was very tasty and authentic. My rating is for the poor business sense. Road salt bag was... sitting at the front window. Boxes of inventory piled up. Table not cleaned till we sat down. Presentation was not there. Many of the food options were not available. No option of sides. Favourite taco joint. Taste and ambiance feels like I scored an invite to a hidden gem run by a cool Mexican patriarch and it's... like this secret delicious delicacy only a small cohort get to taste. Then there's the price - so great. The first visit hadsuch a strong positive impact and helped shape the next few visits. Also tried a tamale for the first time and it wasreminiscent of the maize millet based delicacies I've tasted from sub-Saharan African cuisine. They accommodated with hot verdesauce - this low cost street food item would probably be so out of place in Canadian winter time but, I don't care, this wouldfeel so comforting on your belly coming out of the cold. Staff are undeniably hard workers. The food and cleanliness has sosuper that I feel that much more braver than usual to try some more dishes for the first time - yes even the cow tongue. Read more

Tacos are so freaking good. I eat them at least 2 to 3 times a week and I can ever get sick of them. Kind of expensive though I... wish they were a little bit cheaper or that they had a special for buying X amount of tacos at once. Regardless of that I willkeep going back because they?re too good. They had a stand downtown ottawa for the weekend and we got to try their food and it was amzing
