Hands down, the best taco place in Ottawa. I?ve been venturing to different taco places across town, and this one is truthfully... my favourite. The food is fresh and so full of flavour. I?ve come here twice and have had 6 different taco meats, my favouritehas to be the Tuna & the Al Pastor. The one thing that I really appreciate about here is that I have a gluten & dairy allergy +most the time when places here that I miss out on the majority of the toppings. but here, they make most their sauces & toppingsgluten + dairy free. They?re also the only place that I?ve found that offers gluten free churros for dessert. Will definitelybe back! Read more
This has to be the best place to go for tacos! The tacos are simply excellent. There are so many combinations to choose from and... each individual taco is a work of art--in flavour and in presentation. The restaurant is so cute, with bright colours, littlenooks, and inside/outside options. The excellent food combined with the cheerful ambience makes for a delightful meal. Read more
Fair prices, and good food. My husband and I shared the taco platter ($24). Three tacos (you get to choose whatever kind and... combination that you want). We had steak, pork, and chicken, and they were all delicious. See the menu for all of the options asthere are many. Also included was Mexican rice which was flavourful, refried black beans which were spicy, and had a good punch.We also ordered a side salad for $5 which was a decent size, different, and delicious! I loved the atmosphere. Mexican themethroughout with high bar stool type chairs. Small, and cozy. Our waitress was efficient and efficient, but very serious and allbusiness. Fantastic food and extremely careful with allergies, absolutely wonderful- can?t wait to go back. Everything is made in... house. ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? All their food is gluten free besides the tortillas and they have in house made soft corn tacos whichtaste fantastic. (I had the taco platter, it was so filling I?m finishing the third taco now ????) ???? ???? ???? Ooh and theyprovide a little pan with beans and rice so you can add them to your taco as much or as little as you want! ???? ???? I?mallergic to poultry so most places are extremely risky for me. I had so many options! Pulled pork, steak, etc. Yummm The chefwas so careful with my food, handed me everything separately to make sure it was the ?safe? food. Such amazing customerservice! My absolute favourite Mexican food in Ottawa. It's a small restaurant but the atmosphere inside and out is amazing and their... staff is always fantastic. 99% is gluten free and are super safe with food handling. I have never been sick from eatingthere. It is an absolute must try! Read more
The food is good and that is perhaps this restaurant's saving grace, but definitely not enough to have us come back. This is a... tiny (albeit very cute) restaurant with few tables but it still took 45 minutes just to get table water. We spent our eveningtrying to get our servers' attention (two of them) and waited over an hour for our food - we were starving. My partner's tacoscame out cold. There was a total lack of care of concern for their diners. It would also be such a plus if tables were cleanedbetween guests and if hand sanitizer was provided at each table. There are so many amazing Mexican restaurants in Ottawa tochoose from, this is not one i would revisit. Read more
Their decor was insanely vibrant and full of character, I was mesmerized from the second I stepped in the door and instantly... fell in love with their charming atmosphere. We got their enchiladas and a taco platter ???? , both served with Mexican rice &black beans! They were all freshly made and so flavourful! You have the options of grilled chicken, pulled pork, beef andveggie to choose from for enchiladas. The portion for the enchiladas was really generous, so I definitely recommend getting thatif you are looking for something filling. As for the taco platter, you get to choose any 3 tacos from the menu- we had spicyfried chicken, cochinita pibil (pulled pork), and pulled beef. ???? Note that there is limited seating at thishole-in-the-wall-feel restaurant, but we were seated right away. This is the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to! Extremely flavourful, beautiful presentation, and oh so satisfying.... Vegetarian options were great. The bean dip was so rich and thick. The server was so down to earth and enjoyable. She worked sohard and really took good care of us for our meal. I have bookmarked this place as a 'must go again' for the next time I'm intown!
