We stopped at Valenti's Italian Restaurant after a long day of driving and appointments. The location was very convenient; less... than a mile off US HWY 1 Bypass. We were greeted by friendly staff, everything was well maintained, the ambiance was relaxing, the bathrooms were nice and clean, there was a bar area and nice banquet room. Mom tried a slice of supreme pizza. I ordered aTwister; I added pepperoni and sausage in lieu of the steak or chicken that was listed in the description. My meal was so largethat mom and I only ate half of it. (She tried 2 small slices.) She carried the other half home to my dad. (Can't forget him!):-) Both meals were great! Now that we know how great it is, and how convenient the location is, we will definitely stop bythere on many more of our long trips that go by there! Read more

The food and service here are good. I've had the lasagna, shells and sauce, spaghetti, pizza, and calzones. All of them are... great. I've also had the cheesecakes and chocolate lava cake, both are great. The pasta fagioli is spectacular, when it'savailable. Read more

The absolute best Italian meal I've ever had. The service was awesome and the location was very clean. 5 stars doesn't seem... enough to rate this hidden gem of Moore County. Consistently great every time. Read more

My first time visiting this restaurant I ordered the taste of Italy with the chicken parmigiana, meatballs and lasagna. It came... with a soup of the day which was a cream based mushroom soup. That soup was excellent. The chicken parmigiana, however, was overa cook to the point that it took considerable effort to cut with a knife. Neither my partner and I could finish it. Thelasagna was about a half inch thick, and appeared to be vegetarian, and certainly the thinnest piece of lasagna I've ever had.The taste was good but the pasta was overcooked. You could take a piece of the pasta and rub it between your finger and thumband it would dissolve. The meatballs were also overcooked but the taste was ok. We ended up only eating one of the meatballs andthrowing the rest away. I grew up in a community of Italian immigrants so home cooked Italian food was a big part of mychildhood. I was taught that your meat should be tender and your pasta al dente. All in all I spent about $30 and we only atehalf the meal between two people. This was disappointing but I am willing to try the restaurant again. We live in challengingtimes in terms of obtaining and retaining quality staff and I understand those difficulties. Read more

Wonderful, local restaurant! Valenti's is extremely clean with a great pickup counter for pizza that is private from the... tables/booths. We can't wait to come back for dinner! Pizza was excellent quality and garlic rolls were top notch. Read more

I came here one time in April 2020, but that was takeout only back then, so I was recently here to get the full experience for... the first time. And I must say, it was everything I'd hoped for! The food was delicious, there were plenty of open seats,Susan (was that her name?) had an excellent work performance as my server, and she never hesitated to ask me if I wanted torefill for my drink, and I even managed to save room for dessert! I got to come back here and try the lunch menu some timeand/or go to their new Sanford location! Read more

New Jersey transplant here: great quality and authentic tasting Italian. My husband and I ordered the baked dough which didn?t... disappoint. Then we got free buttery garlic knots/bread for the table. Delicious! I ordered the eggplant parm which was verygood and met all my expectations. My husband ordered the Tour of Italy: meatballs, lasagna, and chicken parm. The meatballs weregreat, I would order again. But the lasagna was dry, needed more flavor, cheese, and sauce. It tasted worse than a frozenlasagna (sorry!). My husband said his chicken parm was the reason he?d come again. So overall, not a bad Italian experience forthe middle of nowhere North Carolina. Expectation started when we pulled into the parking lot and saw the building. I was expecting something good. I wanted to take... the family somewhere we had not been. So we drove an hour and a half to find this place. One table had a couple of small girlsworking on making their own pizza. The restaurant gave the girls the dough and the ingredients. I thought that was prettycool. We had fried ravioli for starters; it was very good. Then I had cream of asparagus soup, which was delicious. My wifeand I had Pasta Milano with chicken. I then knew I was about to hurt myself. I can't fail to mention how good the garlic rollswere. We all had a very good meal. It made our family outing very special. Thank you all for doing what you do. We lovedthat we could take a trip and support you. Read more
