Bagels were amazing when they first opened, but something has changed since they started to make bagels locally. I noticed the... reference to MTL Bagel has disappeared and wondering if this was the cause. Staff seemed fairly new and all over the place, what seemed to be the owner was the most engaging but the other 2 looked lost.... Took quite a while to get our food despite being pretty simple orders. They heated the pastry without asking and overrall foodwas okay. Wanted to order half a dozen bagels buy after eating there I changed my mind. Read more
On our way back to Toronto from Montreal we realized we forgot to buy bagel and we found this place. Like the clean and cozy... environment, friendly staff, variety and bagel tasted great! No need to get into the city and make a thousand turns any more forbagel. Read more
Popped in to the shop as part of a local promotion they had on to sample the different bagel flavours, and I was pleased with... the experience from start to finish. I believe it was the owner who chatted with us, and he explained that the recipe is lowerin sugar and uses molasses instead of honey to make the bagel still taste like a proper Montreal bagel. Once trying the bagel athome, I noticed right away that the density of the bagel was the same, and on the first bite (untoasted) the bagel was the rightamount of stick-to-your-teeth doughy. I tried the everything bagel (furthest left in the photo), which is my favorite flavour,and the flavour was exactly what I was hoping for - a solid blend of each topping (I find the onion can sometimes be toomuch). The rest of the bagels in our sample bunch were (clockwise) sesame seed on wholegrain, cinnamon-raisin, blueberry, poppyseed, and regular sesame seed. The structure of the bagel was perfect for both a simple topping (cream cheese) and for turningit into a sandwich - the shape of the bagel made it both easy to hold everything in the sandwich as well as physically hold thesandwich without it getting messy or toppings falling out. I'm looking forward to returning (hopefully later this week!) to trymore items on their menu. Other points worth noting: - The sandwich board sign outside is clear and easy to read, highlightingthe non-bagel items on their menu - The service we received was incredibly friendly and welcoming, they were willing to explainthe "why" behind the recipe change - The space was clean and easy to access from the front door to the ordering counter (therewas also hand sanitizer available by the front door) Read more
This is not your average bagel spot. They have so much more and everything I have tried is awesome! My favourite so far is the... golden chicken bagel burger (made with a real bagel oven). You can see it in the picture. The upstairs seating is quite privateif you need a spot to relax or get some work done. Read more
I always love visiting LVEB! Their staff are friendly, service and atmosphere are great, and above all, the food is delicious. I... recommend their smoothies, bagel sandwiches, salads, and also their bagel chips (yum!). LVEB's sauces are full of flavor andeverything is very fresh. Their mezzanine is recently opened too. Great addition to Vaudreuil area! We have tried a bit of everything, and we love everything we have got! The poke/salad bowls... are amazing, fresh ingredients with so many varieties of veggies! The pri pri chicken salad bowl comes with authentic Portuguesespicy chicken breast, and the seafood poke bowl comes with fresh raw salmon; the salad dressing are yummy. We love theirblueberry bagels, so delicious but constantly run out, to be expected! We enjoyed the pizza with cauliflower crust, very tastyand interesting!
