Paid 18.99 for a mushroom and Swiss cheese burger + 2.99 for sweet potato fries. Burger was tasteless and cold, sweet potatoes... were good but portion was half what I would expect to get for the price. Description of burger was talking about sautéedmushrooms and caramelized onions?the few mushrooms were cold and tasteless..no onion seen. Came for dinner after an exhausting day of shopping at the mall. My party of 4 was promptly greeted and brought to the table. We... got 2 cold water and 2 hot waters but the mugs for the hot waters were super dirty. There was still a lip stain stain along withother stains on mine that I didn?t even drink my water. Service from Ariana was quick & friendly. We ordered 4 dishes: surf &turf, detox salad, salmon from kids menu, spaghetti from kids menu. For the surf & turf, it came with an option of Caesar orgarden salad and we went with Caesar. We asked for the steak to be medium rare but we could barely even chew it - didn?t evenseem like it was cooked properly. The side of mashed potatoes for this dish was so dry (you can see it in the pic) and it didn?teven come with gravy. The salmon was pretty dry & flavourless and it also came with a side of mashed potatoes which were alsoreally dry. It does come with a teriyaki sauce tho but there is no seasoning within the salmon. The spaghetti was alright andthe detox salad was probs the best out of all the dishes but it came with so many end pieces. The kids meal comes with dessertand we originally picked the cookie but were told they had ran out and the only things left were fruits. When we were almostdone our meal, we were told that there were cookies available now but it came wrapped up in plastic Wrap like it was leftoverfrom last night or something. We stopped by for lunch hour on July 5, 2022. Ambiance was good and we were greeted by our server Rachel. She was pleasant to... talk to and indeed liked to offer us the deals that would make sense with our kind of combo. With regards to food, we orderedZucchini pasta, make your own balini, Southwest Chicken Caesar. Food was good but in comparison of the portion size, price wasgood too. We ordered creamy tomato soup which they did not have to they offered minestrone soup instead which we gladly acceptedhowever, soup was not at par. It wasn't hearty at all - no beans, very sparse vegetables and moreover it tasted like dicedcanned tomato being thinned out with hot water, salt and pepper. Service is good but menu has changed a lot. They removed what made Pickle Barrel unique and added Knockoff versions of popular... things from other restaurants. Bring back the matzo ball soup and original menu please. I had the beet salad with chicken, itwas good and filling. I?d still go here if I was in the mall and wanted a quiet place to get some work done while I ate. I findit?s not busy often. Read more
?Finally! A restaurant that serves amazing milk shakes!? Went out for dinner with my mom last week. We weren?t sure where to... eat so we decided to go to the pickle barrel. Had Marcello as our awesome server. I am so satisfied and impressed with serviceand portion sizes! I was looking for a place that serves decent milk shakes for the past 3 months. I wasn?t expecting this, it?slike the size of a pitcher and it?s only $6 Not only is the portion size huge and reasonably priced, but it?s also the bestmilkshake I?ve had. Also, all of the other food that we order was delicious and also had enormous portion sizes - we didn?tfinish it all and it took us days to eat the take-away. It?s so nice to see a restaurant that is fair with their portion sizespost-Covid 19. They haven?t been stingy with the level of service that they provide to their customers and that?s a really nicequality to see. We visited on 28 April for dinner, The venue is quite spacious, good ambiance, well arranged tables, comfortable cushions, sofa... n chairs. Fairly crowded. Came here with my girlfriend and had an amazing time. We sat in a booth and I had the mushroom Swiss burger. I loved the burger... and my girl had pasta and we both had Cesar salad to share. Only thing is that they are usually really busy and they mightforget things, I had told the waiter for straws and she forgot so I had to get it from the girl that served us food but otherthan that it was good time, food, and not too loud with a bunch of people inside ????
