I have been coming here quite often, and as far as food is concerned, today was great. We ordered the vegetarian Spicy Eggplant... with 2 sides of rice. What caught my eye, and could potentially serve as a heads-up to anyone reading the review is this: Whenit came time to pay the bill, I was goinig to use my card. Upon requesting the machine, the wait staff asked for my card, andasked if it was a tap-enabled card. That's when I saw they had actually put 15% for the tip. I wasn't asked, and I didn't inputthat number. I then asked for the machine to do it myself, lowered the tip amount to what I was comfortable with, andpaid. Whether you agree with the tip amount or not, please make sure it is YOU who is entering the % value that you feel mostcomfortable with. It seems to be poor etiquette for the 'wait staff' to pre-enter a tip amount/percentage. Read more

After being a long time customer of the Szechuan Express in the Eaton Centre when I worked downtown, we went to the sit down... restaurant at Vaughan Mills. Nice atmosphere, very clean. Menu offerings are plates to be shared. Our selections includedCrispy Ginger Beef (my favourite and very difficult to find a good one) and Sesame Chicken with two orders of steamed rice. Thefood comes out very quickly but in no way seems like it was sitting around in a hot table (be prepared for it to be thetemperature of the sun if you dive in too quickly). Crispy Ginger Beef was just like I remembered it. Hot, crispy with gingerand heat and perfectly paired with steamed rice. Sesame Chicken was good but not nearly as good as the beef. Servings weregenerous with enough leftovers for another meal for two (need to add steamed rice). Staff were very attentive and even broughtover a pitcher of water for the table when they saw our water glasses emptying. Just a warning that drinks are not refillable. Read more

Crispy ginger beef is crispy and sweet love it! We get it every time. Pad Thai and spicy eggplant is tasty too.

We were the last customer that day, and we had a great dinner overall. I love everything we ordered, especially the mango salad,... it's a must try. Can't wait to go back there again. Read more

Was my very first (and last) time ordering anything from here. I decided to go with the ginger beef. What I actually received... could be called, Charred and Burnt, Blackened Beef. I was starving and tried a few pieces, It had a strong burnt and sootyflavour, but at the same time was extremely sweet. How any chef would think this is acceptable to serve and pass standards ismind boggling. Read more

Kids were hungry after Legoland and this popped up in our path. Glad we stopped by! Mongolian beef was great and so were all the... other dishes. Wish they didn't lock up all the patio tables and claim they were all reserved though. Read more
