I asked the staff (asian lady/hispanic man) if they would be able to confirm what I amseeing. They told me that the same utensils used for the rice is what is used to plate the plantains. The steak tacos were incredible. But, the steak kabobs was a no, I asked does it come with onions and peppers, I was told it... doesn't, and for another $1 it does, but I don't know where the steak kabob was when I got my order, I thought it would be likethe chicken kabob but instead it was a whole piece of steak on a skewer, with onions and red peppers on the side. For the price point, this place is awesome. The chicken, rice and fries were delicious. The food is phenomenal. I also tried... their empanada it was delicious! Service was extremely good polite and nice!! No fountain drinks. Big portions for the priceand the food is FRESH. There is parking. Why not 5 stars? The unethical tip note on the receipt- maybe the demographic of thearea. And for the love of god, you have big portions why give ONE napkin everytime? Read more
Apparently, as i am now looking at the other reviews, i see i'm not the only who has had this problem with the owner. I ordered... food and thr owner who took my order got the order wrong and refused to correct it. It was an $11 item that I was willing toreturn and pay more the for the correct item and she refused saying no she repeated it to me (a lie) and so that proves shewasn't wrong- but instead I was the one who was wrong. I patronize this business on a regular basis and have even referred manyfriends and colleagues to them. But because her pride and i guess greed got in the way, she would risk losing a loyal customerplus the countless others i have brought with me over $11. Wow!
