We showed up at 8:45pm on a Friday night, 15 minutes to closing. We didn't realize they were closing, otherwise we wouldn't have... gone in. The owners were so accommodating. They opened up the buffet for us and stayed open another hour. Which ment alot to ourfamily/party of 9, as we hadn't seen each other in years. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. My favoirte (besides the wontonsoup) was the handcrafted mini desserts. Very decedent. Read more

Amazing western style Chinese food. Went there several times when they first opened (I live in Southern Alberta) and the food... was great. Hadn't been up this way in years and stopped in - quality is still fantastic, service is fast and friendly. I'vetried Chinese restaurants from Lethbridge to Edmonton and China Zone is by far the best quality for western style Chinesecuisine. The best ginger beef in Alberta, a must-stop for any visit to Vegreville. Read more

Wow, great surprise for tasty food on a rainy day. We were traveling through Vegreville and stopped for lunch. The Wor wonton... soup was huge and very tasty! The wontons even had a gentle spice not just mush. The black bean hotpot arrived in a sizzlingdecorative bowl. The presentation was lovely. We enjoyed the flavors and fresh food.
