I was a bit leery of the place, how good could a gluten free restaurant be?? The answer it turns out is amazingly good. I ate... here three nights in a row. Once with a date, the other two on my own. I will let you guess which were more enjoyable... Thewine list is impeccable and the owner's knowledge of the wines on the menu was outstanding. The food was just divine, loved thesquash blossoms. First time I have had them outside of a Mexican establishment. The scallops were prepared perfectly. Thedeserts were also amazing. I have to go back to LA in January and I will definitely be dining again at 401K. Read more

This is celiac heaven! The food was incredible, ambience amazing, with lovely jazz music. Service was such high quality. I'm... also sober and there was a great NA spritz. I couldn't love this place more. Everyone aside from me doesn't have to eatgluten-free and they loved it just the same. Go! Worth the money. Read more

Whilst heavily billed a gluten free restaurant this place is anything but one dimensional. You transition from a busy road,... through to a fab out back courtyard. With nice lighting, French music and a chilled oasis. The food is divine, the wine is greatand there is real pride in the food and service. Some of the best food in town. Read more

Do not walk, RUN to eat here!! It was mind blowing for both those needing to eat gluten free and those who didn't. Food was... nothing short of amazing and the service couldn't be beat with a gracious and hospitable owner. I wish I was a local because I'dbe here all the time! Read more

What a treat! This place is heaven on earth for gluten free and soy free people! All items are gluten free and only 1 item with... vegan chorizo contains soy. You must try the buttermilk biscuits! They are soft and warm and served with butter and homemadejam! The fish and chips were delicious, lightly breaded. The star was the fried zucchini blossoms, they were lightly breaded anda perfect balance of savory and acidity with the mint ricotta and tomato sauce. Oh! Save room for the churros, you will be inheaven when you try these guys. I haven’t had churros since I became gluten free so this was an absolute GIFT to be able toenjoy these warm, fluffy, cinnamon sugar delights. We wish this place existed on the East Coast! Read more

We found 401K Food and Wine one night on the way home from the airport when we were exhausted and ravenous. What a gem. This... restaurant happens to be completely gluten-free but they don’t compromise on flavor or quality one bit. If you didn’t*know* it was gf, you wouldn’t be able to tell. Honestly. Pinky swear. You will not be disappointed. Especially if you like agood wine list. While my daughter and I are gf, my husband is not. He’s taken several non-gf friends to eat there and theyall loved it. We’ve been back multiple times, even though we live an hour+ away. It’s run by the brains + talent behindSinners & Saints bakery, which is two doors over. Sinners & Saints bakes both gluten-full (Sinners) and gluten-free (Saints)desserts. We always stop by here for something delish to take home. Back to 401K. There is a cozy indoor seating area and alovely outdoor space that feels like an upscale casual garden patio with a slight edge. My teen daughter recently commented howmuch she likes the aesthetic. The food is delicious and satisfying. From the cheese plate to the squash blossoms to, well, everything. Desserts are amazing, as expected. We had the churros last time, even though we were stuffed full, and they werelike eating sweet cinnamon clouds. Heaven. If you’re gluten-free, gf curious or just a foodie, head over to 401K.Reservations recommended but we’ve been okay just popping by. Although I think that’s going to change soon. Read more

What an amazing place! I have celiac so it’s tough to find good food and an extensive menu, this place has them both. Not only... do they have great food, but the owner and the one server they have are absolutely fantastic. Extremely friendly and verypersonable. When we’re in LA next we’re definitely stopping by! Loved it! Don’t worry that the gluten-free aspect may in any way detract from the experience or the flavour, if anything the... extra care has made the dishes even more delicious. Knowledgeable, well trained and passionatestaff and very friendly service. Read more
