Decent sushi place on a quiet-ish roundabout. Good food. Polite and helpful staff. If you don’t want a HUGE sports screen... looming over you as you eat then go for an outside table or the more quiet and sophisticated side of the venue where the chefsare doing their thing! Read more

Price: Fair price considering it’s in Venice beach neighborhood. Food: There are authentic sushi and more fusion... options. Vibe: Trendy and cute. There is a more traditional style room and a more trendy room with sport bar. Happy hour: Onlyavailable at the sport bar sitting. Read more

The service was very slow, had to ask for things two three times from our main waiter, most of the times when we got things it... was from asking someone else. One of our meals was never made until it was time to close the kitchen, then nobody ever broughtout a fork after we requested so we had to eat it with our hands cause we were already over the wait. Sushi was bland, shrimptempura wasn’t even tempura it was just a fried shrimp which I’ve never seen made that way before. Overall did not meet anyof our expectations. Best thing was the dumplings and the spicy tuna with the red masago Read more

The sushi here is spectacular! It's definitely a cut above other local sushi restaurants, and you'll pay that slight premium.... It's absolutely worth it though! They have so many creative and delicious specialty rolls (the Temptation Roll is my favorite)you can keep coming back to try them all. If you're visiting Venice, Hama is a MUST TRY. If you live in Venice, don't be like meand miss out on this any longer! Read more

I had the beef & onion udon. Very low on flavor which I was surprised by because udon is typically flavorful. Service was slow.... The waitress misunderstood my friend's order so my friend had to wait 40 mins for her sushi order ??????? Pretty disappointed.I personally won't be coming back Read more

Very bad experience. Sushi itself was fine, but everything around it not. Starters came after the entree and 2 orders were... completely forgotten. They started closing (raised chairs and disassembled the pavilion) while we were still eating and added amandatory tip at the end. We feel ripped off. I do not recommend coming here. Read more

Received the most amazing service and fresh sushi here. Reservations are highly recommended for the weekend because they were... packed when we arrived and were seated. Really convenient location, easily walkable from Abbot Kinney Boulevard / Venice Beach. The owner stopped by our table to speak with us for a moment and was so sweet! Read more

They definitely do have a happy hour, but their rolls are small and overpriced. We got a spicy tuna and spicy salmon and also... their sushi sampler (all pictured) and I don’t think it was worth the $$$ we spent. The service at the bar was great though-dedicating all three stars to the sweet woman who served us tonight. If you’re looking for quality and to pay a slightly lowerprice for larger amounts of sushi, just go to sugarfish ???? Read more
