Stopped by Plancha in Venice while continuing my search for the best fish taco in SoCal. I got the grilled fish lettuce taco and... the tiger shrimp taco. Both were ok, but there wasn?t anything special about them. Great location, tho. I?ll try again and getone of there many vegetarian options. Service was not friendly. No one was rude, but they could have cared less that I was aguest. Read more
Totally delicious Mexican food, came there by accident. The only con are the fountain drinks which taste quite old
I?ve been coming to Plancha Venice for over ten years and while it used to be 5-star worthy, unfortunately the quality has... plunged in the last year. Traditional recipes like the tiger shrimp taco and steak burrito atenta the same anymore, even theburrito they make will fall apart in your hand while you?re trying to eat. Taste has gone dramatically down as well. It?s likethey?ve hire the sloppier cooks in town. The only thing that saves this place is the cashier guy who wears a ton of hats takingorders, delivering to the tables and communicating effectively with their subpar cooks. My new favorite spot for tasty breakfast tacos, lunch tacos and healthy salad options. The guy at the front counter is a... sweetheart. Try the tiger shrimp salad or their Al pastor. Fish tacos are also a very good option! I love that they have bfasttacos - they give you enough stuffing to make 2 tacos if you split it up since you get an extra tortilla. Solid Pico too. We hit this place for lunch on Saturday June 2nd and we were surprised it wasn?t busy. The food was delicious and customer... service fantastic. Only reason for giving it a 4 and not 5 star rating was that I found the tacos to be a little on the smallside for how much they charge. That being said I would recommend this location. Read more
About $5/taco. Got the shrimp and grilled fish dinner. Shrimp was pretty good but not deveined. Guacamole was good. Overall the... store seemed overwhelmed between online orders and in person orders. Read more
Had a decently nice lunch. We opted for the Tiger burrito (shrimp) and 3 street tacos. Suprised every bite I took I had a nice... chunk of shrimp. The Street tacos were juicy and definitely not dried as with most spots. It's a hole intbe wall and a greatplace to go to after a day at the beach in Venice. 9/10. I would definitely come back again.
