The food is nowhere near as good as it used to be. I used to eat here at least once a week . Now I only go maybe once energy... couple of months. It doesn't matter what time of day you go in either. Beef for the beef plate is almost always over cooked tothe point of it being dried out. Half the time the cheese on the cheese fries isn't even melted all the way. The staff are sweet and the service was great! The baby backs were pretty good. The St. Louis not so much. The staff was very... accommodating and got me another 1/2 slab of the baby back to take with me. They had a great flavor and fell off the bone. Read more

Even though baby back ribs are supposed to be small, they should at least be moist. They were fall off the bone though ? because... the little amount of meat that was struggling to hold onto the bone vaporized at my touch. Macaroni and cheese is a staple whenit comes to barbecue sides. Rib City has its own take on the barbecue classic: throw some bow ties into some warm water and addyellow food coloring, calling it a day. The cheese sauce was pretty much water. Won?t lie, though - the pulled pork was prettygood; the sauce was quite good. I would say do better on your ribs when ribs is in the name of the restaurant. They alsoautomatically added a 20% gratuity to my $65 takeout order, and I do not recall a sign that said anything and no one saidanything. Read more

Rib City is one of my all time rib abs BBQ restaurants. This location certainly lived up to the Rib City reputation. The food... was outstanding and consistent with other locations.....so delicious. The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly, helpful,and efficient. Can't wait to return. Read more

Best bbq between north port and venice. Get baby back ribs, withvloaded potatoe, and backed beans. Worth the visit.
