Our first visit. We sat at the bar, the service was great! We both had the fried grouper and fries. Excellent! We weren't... expecting such great taste and quality. It's located next to a marina and the bar space is really cool, 1/2 inside and 1/2outside. There is awesome art inside and it's dog friendly to boot! Definitely will go again when we are in Florida. Nice quaint, cozy eatery with good food and nice friendly staff. Crab spread w/chips appetizer was a bit on the bland side, but... the Grouper Rueben and the Fish & Chips were absolutely on point. 2nd visit to The Old Salty Dog Venice was absolutely perfect. I had the Big Catch Fish Sandwich.....delicious. My wife had the Maui Wow Wee Burger and she loved everything about it. Aiden was our server and he was spot on during our entire visit..! Read more
The Mrs and I stopped in for lunch after spending the morning looking at cars. Clean restaurant with a nice view. Service was... great and I had the chance to change my Salty Dog into a very good chili Salty Dog! It was great. The Mrs had the shrimp basketand really enjoyed it as well. Certainly a place you should visit. Read more
