I promise you must go here! Either for a date night, a night with friends or even by yourself! The food was delicious and purely... authentic. I was so stuffed after the appetizers and wanted more! Cute restaurant upstairs with amazing food! We had reservations for 9pm on a Friday night and there was only 1 other couple. Our... waiter, DJ, was very nice and knowledgeable. Food was spectacular! I only ate a variation of the starters so it's possible that the mains are very good. The Great Gatsby drink is very good and... the vermouth wasn't overpowering. The crab dip was too cream cheesey and lacking flavor. The Brussel sprouts were very good.Gives me more of an elevated dive bar if you will. Also, to note, if you go to the movie theater you can order alcoholic drinksfrom the bar to watch with your movie. Read more
This place is just outstanding! The food...the atmosphere...the service. Everything was quality. They even made some tartar... sauce from scratch when we needed some! The mixed drink selection and the beers were fantastic. If you're anywhere near ventnoryou owe it to yourself to check this place out. John...the manager here treated us better than anyone ever has. Loved this little gem in Ventnor! Great cocktails, food and staff! Our server, Matt, shared with us how one may have takeout... food and cocktails to take to Ventnor Theater which is attached to the restaurant. He also shared the menu for the upstairs,higher-end dining experience. Only negative, is seating is a bit crowded on the 1st floor, but sidewalk seating available. Read more
Our group of friends held a 40th birthday dinner for our friend at Nucky’s and had such a great experience! Not only was the... atmosphere stunningly beautiful (we were upstairs), the food was amazing (we all had the salmon or Chilean sea bass, Brussels,oysters, and shrimp cocktail), but the service was impeccable and we had the absolute BEST bartender/manager (I believe? If not,she should be!) in the upstairs bar after. She wore a massive smile the entire time and kept the vibes high for hours after thedinner, playing super fun songs and even dancing with us and calling out other members of her staff to do the same. ????To saywe had the best time was an understatement. Second time coming here, first time for dinner upstairs. The setting is very nice, warm and inviting. Not as busy as I thought... it would be. We had a reservation for 8:30. Our server was really nice and helped me decide what to get. I was torn between twoentrees, I went with the short rib ragu. Not disappointed at all. The short rib was tender and the pasta was just right. Myboyfriend got the bugsy chicken entree. The description said it came with mozzarella, but his did not. Still really tasty and hewas happy with his decision. Would have loved to try the Italian lemon cake dessert, but the kitchen closed at 9:30 before Ifinished my entree, so unfortunately I didn't this time. Read more
What nice place, after the movie we went to have dinner here and we all enjoyed our food. We had fright Calamari and meatballs... for appetizers, and than each of us had something different, tagliatele with a ton of crab meat, stake with mushrooms andbroccoli, Chicken Marsala, and scallops and rice.
