Baby Alec Baldwin was our bartender today! We were on a moms weekend, kid free, and he was attentive and funny. We had a blast... the wings, muscles, and calamari were a nice snack for day drinking. The top deck was scenic and breezy. Read more

Came over with girls who were out of state for a quick dinner before heading out. I hadn’t seen them in about 3 years. Talked... Santucci’s up to them since we live around the corner and have had several semi-good experiences. (The food isn’tnecessarily great.) Thank goodness my friends got to eat. I would have been more mortified if they hadn’t been able to, and Idid. My food never came. Spoke to our waiter several times asking where my food was. At this point, he moved on to behind thebar, and was busy bartending and completely stopped attending to us. He told me “the food comes out when it’s ready.” Aword of advice to Santucci’s- that is NOT how reputable establishments work. We had several other dinners after thatexperience over the rest of the weekend where all four dinners got served at the same time. We know how restaurant dining shouldwork. We were then sent a busboy over to apologize. The busboy also told me (and I quote): “yeah, that bartender is not veryprofessional.” Again- a word of advice to Santucci’s- you send a manager over if a member of the party is not only upset,but never received her meal. Not a busboy. I was so embarrassed that this is what my out-of-state guests experienced. A sidenote- if Santucci’s is so understaffed, perhaps you should try hiring more people. Both my kids applied. I’m not normally one to write a bad review but my family had the worst experience here. We had been to Santucci’s in Ventnor... last summer in 2021 and enjoyed it with no issues. This year it was absurd. We walked into the front doors downstairs and therewas no one at the counter for 10+ minutes. We couldn’t figure out if we were supposed to go upstairs to the rooftop deck to beseated because there were no directions. We decided to go up there ourselves and we were not acknowledged by any of the staff upthere either. Eventually, WE had to flag down the staff, who consisted of 4 girls, who were running up and down the stairs. Weasked if we could get a table on the rooftop and they said there was one but it had to be bussed. We said ok no problem and wentup and stood beside the table. No one came over to us or acknowledged our presence for the rest of the time we were there.Everyone on the rooftop was hanging around as if it were just a bar and there was 0 service. The bus boy sat his bin down on ourtable and walked away. The staff seemed absolutely slammed and there were no more than 40 people in the entire place. We decidedto leave and go someplace else since this place was just chaotic. Read more

I love their food. The short rib loaded fries are phenomenal! I also like their pizza... never had a bad experience with them... when we have ordered delivery. The pizza has always been on point. BUT... our first ever dine in experience was awful. We wentin recently for Karoake night hosted by our friends Bernie and Wally and oh boy those guys know how to entertain for sure! Thestaff which consisted of a pretty boy bartender and a lone server and their cook... was SLAMMED by a moderately sized crowd. Ittook upwards of 30 minutes for the bartender to even acknowledge that we were there. Then another 15 minutes or so later ourserver finally made it to our table and took our order and another 20 minutes later we finally got our two Yuenglings. Thebartender was merely for appearances it seems. He was NOT that busy at the bar, he found ample time to pace up and down behindthe bar and stretch his arms. Dory, the server, was a trooper. She was red in the face and highly apologetic on behalf of hermanager who was not even in house on an event night. Dory, you are awesome, you fought a good battle... kudos to you! Prettyboy barkeep and absent bodied manager could learn quite a bit from you. Will be back to support Bernie and Wally but will notexpect much from the rest of the staff which is an absolute shame. Great place for the family and the food is outstanding! Fyi well done margherita is the way to go! Not a mask to be found is the... only issue tho...if they had enforced local ordinances it would for sure have been 5 stars but when the town the restaurant isin has the city hall close down for covid cases you would think they might pay a little more attention to this is all.
