Chicken & Waffles get a 3/10 for flavor and a 10/10 for presentation. The chicken was a little dry and not crispy/flaky enough.... Might not be their specialty, but could improve. This restaurant is so charming and cute! Plenty of outdoor seating as well as very comfortable indoor seating. Mabel was our... server and she was the sweetest! She helped recommend dishes we could get and she did not steer us wrong. The crab meat Benedicthad lots of crab and was so delicious, the chicken and waffles was crispy and you can get it with hot honey. Would love to visitthis place again. Read more
I’d say it was the best breakfast place on the island. We had breakfast tacos, avocado toast, Mediterranean omelet , pancakes,... and Oracle Benedict. Everything was delicious. Their home fries were exceptional too. The service took long time but that’sbecause they were understaffed due to labor shortages at the end of the season. Overall, it was a very good food and we willcome back again. Update: we came here for dinner too. The food was great. But the service was bad. It took them 55 mins toserve us our appetizer. The waitress hardly ever showed up. We will only come here for breakfast since no on. Read more

I’m not necessarily a foodie, that’s really more my wife. But I have to say I don’t think I’ve EVER enjoyed a better... breakfast. The Órale Benedict and Chicken and Waffles were AMAZING! If you’re in the general AC area, it’s worth making thetrip to Ventnor to have a meal here. Read more

I have been coming to Velo for breakfast religiously for years, but tonight I... finally got the opportunity to come for dinner! 1. the food is outstanding. I had the Lobster Ravioli and my partner had theBlackend Tuna. Let me just tell you that we didn't even come up for a breath! We devoured our entrees. 2. the chef came out toask about our meals and he was more than pleasant! He was very personable and interested in our feedback. An AMAZING guy 3.towards the end of our meal the owner came up to our table and made sure that everything was up to par and that we enjoyed ourmeal and i can say with 100% certainty that everything was fabulous.
