The restaurant is located conveniently in the center of Ventura downtown. The atmosphere is really nice and we had a nice dinner... there. Our waiter was nice and attentive who took good care of our table of six. The food was overall okay but we found a greatvariation between dishes. The pasta fruti di mare was ok but the mussels had a bad taste to them, the pizza was ok as well but alittle bit boring and not the greatest dough. The New York steak was apparently very good as was the pasta with the filet. Wealso had good but strong cocktails and delicious creme brulee. We may come back here because it's really a nice atmosphere withlive music, but will try other dishes. Read more

Went for drinks and appetizers, wonderful. Got the trio plate with crabcakes, bacon wrapped shrimp and goat cheese fritters. ... My daughter got clams and mussels appetizer. Everything was five stars, as were the drinks. Had live music also. Highlyrecommend. Read more

A relatively nice place. Don't go expecting real Italian... it would be insulting to any Italian. Attention to details is also... their best quality. My wife's dish came hot while mine came cold - clearly waiting on the counter. And they managed to bring amussels appetizer before being able to pour a glass of wine. When I asked server about 2 wines she pointed me one saying thatwas the best... because it was the most popular... ouch! Read more

I ate here while my car was getting work done at Firestone. The staff were all very friendly! I was able to easily get a table... for lunch. I ordered only the lobster bisque and it really wasn't very good. It had a bad fishy smell, and the taste was toosweet. I wasn't able to eat but only a few bites. I felt terrible for my waitress because it wasn't her fault the soup wasn'tvery good. Maybe I will come back another day and give them a second chance. The bread was delicious. Read more

I have had a craving for lobster bisque and this totally hit the spot! Who knew I'd satisfy that urge in Ventura,... California?! There was only one size available and this was a very generous bowl. I had the fettuccine al ragu and it wasfreshly made pasta. It was cooked perfectly al dente with plenty of bolognese. I was offered fresh parmesan shredded over myplate at the table. I had enough left over to take home after eating the lobster bisque. We also ordered the risotto con pollo efunghi and it came out steaming hot. Again, the rice was cooked perfectly al dente. Lastly, we ordered the creme brulee and theWinter Wonderland drink for dessert. Unfortunately, they didn't have the liqueur for the drink and our waitress suggested I getan avocado martini instead. I was skeptical, but the server said she would drink it if we didn't. Believe it or not, the avocadomartini was delicious! Made with vanilla vodka, mango rum, lemon, lime, and half an avocado this martini is definitely differentbut I'd do it again. We were really lucky they were open on Christmas Eve, too! Read more

Liked the menu, good pizza but no sauce, pasta is made from scratch. Really liked the ambience on the side patio. Chocolate... molten cake was rich/good but they don't give enough cream to balance it out. Read more
