We celebrated my birthday with dinner at Cafe Zack on the patio. All in our family of 11 agreed that it was a perfect dinner.... Excellent quality food served perfectly by friendly competent staff including Hector?s personal touch. It was the best. Absolutely the best food EVER!!! And we've been to many high end places. We enjoyed the steak cooked to PERFECTION! The pasta... with a hint of heat..the caesar salad and the cream corn crab soup. Cafe Zack is a Ventura must! This cozy little restaurant is tucked on the edge of Downtown/Midtown. I?ve taken my wife here... twice and both times we?ve been super impressed! The food is really good. We haven?t had anything that I wouldn?t recommend. Ihighly recommend the steak. They are tender and great quality. Make sure to try an appetizer as well. For seating options youhave a few. You can sit inside, on the patio, or in the back. Both times we went it was cold (Ventura cold) outside. We satoutside the first time, due to the pandemic, and in the patio the second time. We both said it would have been great to come inthe summer and sit outside. Enjoy! Read more

Cozy, quiet Cafe Zack is a great place for intimate lunches or dinners with a little bit of a European feel.
