We used to regulars here. We knew the servers and they knew us. They had a management shake up last yr. We went in January and... everyone we knew was gone, though they sang happy Birthday to my fiance and gave him a free mochi green tea ice cream. OurServer last night practically ignored us even after being told it was my birthday, I feel because we didn't order enough, thebirthday song never happened nor my free dessert. I'm very disappointed at how cold the atmosphere was, when under the oldmanagement, they were warm and inviting. We miss the old place Soo much... Theres a reason why this place is always busy. Its always fresh, good rolls, good combos/specials. I always pick up lunch here.... They have good lunch specials. Usually get the chirashi bowl or sushi lunch special D with tempura. Always have to tell them toleave out the furikake on the rice in the chirashi because it makes it so much more salty and ruins it. Also have to make sureit's D as in dog not b as in boy for the sushi lunch special because they keep messing it up on that too . They also have koreanchirashi (hwae dup bap) but always remember to ask for the sauce on the side or else they can put too much. ???? Also, Alwayscheck the food if they got it right, and if they added Wasabi and ginger because they often forget! Which I can't eat sushiwithout my wasabi!! Then I get mad! I ordered my take out on the online ordering system. I have been sitting in the parking lot for over a half and hour waiting... for my food. The on line app directs you what time to come for your food. I will never order from here again. Lots of goodsushi in Ventura. Read more

Do not order to go. Rolls will be missing and they will say that you have it when you never received it. I can't believe they... tried to explain to me what the roll looks like. I ordered 6 and only received 5 rolls....they eill not return your money butwill give you "store credit". How do i receive that when you don't event ask for my first and last name. Always a consistent, good product. Even when we had take-out, all the food came home looking gorgeous and very tasty. Kudos to... this restaurant for sustaining and surviving! Love your food! Read more

This place definitely makes you love sushi. They have a large variety of baked and raw sushi to choose from. There are even... gluten free options to choose from. Service is fast and the food is delicious. The price is great, we will definitely beordering from I Love sushi again. Read more
