There are great Mexican food restaurants. There are super Mexican food restaurants. Then there's Limon y Sal! Extraordinary! The... giant mixed meat platter with jalapenos, leeks, green onions, fresh corn tortillas, rice, and beans is hefty and savory. It alsocomes with small taquitos, and the most flavorful quesadilla ever! We had the best fish tacos we've eaten on both sides of theborder. Great ambience, nice stuff & decent food! We came to celebrate my dance partners birthday, the nice bartender helped me out... with the cake. Other server was just ok. Food: Nicely arranged and mostly delicious. They have variety of different Menus ontheir website: Lunch / Dinner / Vegan / Bar menu. Much to choose: from meat, fish and even vegan (with loads of processedartificial meat substitutions) Ambience: colonial feeling, dark brown wood, with beautiful lamps, high selling and comfortablebooths. Dimmed lights and pub - Spanish rock music. Service: for service actually just 3* but one girl (bartender) made it to4* (-) When we arrived one host boy outside wasn’t paying attention to us for several minutes. Absolutely loved this place! Food, service, ambience! You just couldn't go wrong. We were all vegetarian but also sampled the... began quesadillas. Absolutely mouth watering. Drinks were also on point. Staff super welcoming and attentive and quick torespond. One of our drinks was not to our liking (Bloody Maria) so the waitress changed it for another immediately without anyfuss. Totally recommend everything about this place. Couldn't fault it so I truly do not understand those people who have givena poor review for this place. Read more
Food and drinks were good. Time to be seated was quick. Only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because the food was brought... out at different times which was strange since 3 of us ordered the same plate. It was not just a minute or two difference but 5-10 minutes between plates. Overall, experience was good, there is just room for improvement with the service. Read more

Usually see this place at night when it's super crowded so I thought I'd try it out during the day. Went around 11:45 for the... lunch specials. Sat at the outside patio-it was not too crowded great open space..Ordered nachos and a red burrito. Lunchspecials are $12 and these two entrees were a decent size. Not impressed with either item. The food did not have a lot offlavor. But when I looked around a lot of people ordered tacos and other items that look a great. Did I order the wrong items?Service was okay and it took awhile for my waitress to come back to cash me out. I was trying to be patient because she did geta lot of tables(lunch rush, in the menu, which they say they are prepared for)and I totally understood, but at one point I hadasked someone else to cash me out. Great meal! Margaritas were delicious and made strong! Ordered one pineapple margarita that barely tasted of alcohol but you... could certainly feel it, the second was a spicy margarita where I requested jalapenos be added to the cucumber margarita. Weordered the guacamole to start which was good and fresh but definitely needed salt. For main entrees, I ordered the Plato deCarnitas and my friend ordered a plate with a variety of fish tacos and enchiladas. Both were delicious! Popped in for a late lunch. Seated quickly and served promptly with enthusiasm and a smile by Sara. ???? Guacamole Tour app was... fun and fresh - standard guac with 3 topping options. We had marlin fish tacos, enchiladas divorciadas, seafood enchilada, andamazing margaritas. One pineapple flavor and one cucumber flavor both ringed with tajin. Delicious!! Read more
