Good service. Good food. Good prices. I was hoping more for fall off the bones ribs. These ribs are not those. The seasoning was... still good. My wife got the chicken sandwich. The chicken and bread were good. Don't expect toppings like lettuce, tomato, oronion. Read more
Updated review 2.0 went back and they still have the same bitter workers here. Food is good here only problem is the staff here... is always in a bad mood. The simply don't have any people skills for something as simple as taking an order for a sandwich. Alsothey will mess up your meal if you don't tip them. Not the best bbq. I'll try and be as honest as I can. The trip tip was okay it was tender not very flavorful but good enough I... guess. The chicken was really red and pink inside so my girlfriend didn't feel comfortable eating it so that was a waste. Itried a bit and it tasted weird and flavorless. The potato salad was alright. The macaroni and cheese was God awful. I'dcompare the Mac n cheese to Kraft Mac n cheese that's been made with too much liquid. The Mac n cheese has what looks likecheese on it but it has zero flavor of cheese and pasta was really over cooked. Visited for the first time and boy have I been missing out! The bbq meat is cooked to absolute perfection, the bread is... delicious. We got the Mac and cheese and chilli for sides and both were delicious. If you arrive after 6pm you will be in for along wait. They also tend to run out of ingredients, so get there before the dinner rush, especially for their amazing slaw. Ifyou are searching for great BBQ, you have found your spot. Read more
Heard about this place from someone at my work and decided to give them a try. Went in during the whole dine outside only... situation. The inside of the restaurant seems very nice and I wish I had been able to eat in there instead of outside. Staff wasvery friendly and accommodating specially after a messed up order. I thought the price Point was very fair for the amount offood you get. The atmosphere was just okay, we had to sit outside and there were flies which was not the restaurants fault butit is what it is. The sauce was good, the actual food not so much. Sweet potato casserole had been baked at some point, but it was cold and... uninspiring by time it got to me. Garlic bread was a tad salty but still edible. And the chicken burrito was tough to eat due tothe size of the pieces of meat within; they were too big and tough. Even when you don't use stewed or pulled meat in a burritoThe meat should still be chopped in pieces small enough to bite through. Flavor will still shine no matter the size. Also, ifyou are going to be a BBQ place that does burritos, maybe consider using a meatless bbq baked bean instead of pinto or at thevery least drizzle some BBQ sauce inside the burrito. It would really go further toward differentiating your burrito from themore traditional types thereby creating something that has less that it can be compared to. For example, I would never comparea sushi burrito with that of a regular burrito. They are on different wavelengths and therefore unique, giving both reason toexist.
