First, I gotta ask, how much do yall pay people to leave a good review? I cannot believe that with the food I was just served... and with the way this restaurant was operating that a review of over 1 star would be posted honestly. I didn't have any issueswith the staff personally, the atmosphere was friendly, but as far as family friendly, very much so, your kids just might see awaitress or cook doing a line behind a room divider next to your booth is all. The food, the most important part, the reasonyou read reviews at all, is the food worth the money? ABSOLUTELY.. NOT! Don't waste your money or your time, I'm not beingunreasonable as I say this, I paid $29.95 (with a coupon for $2.00 off) for 2 calzones, Canadian bacon and mozzarella on one,Italian sausage and mozzarella on the other, we also ordered the garlic cheesy bread (all of which looked amazing online). Thefood took about 15-25 minutes to get to us, which actually we had to pick up at the counter and it was .. in the nicest way toput it, trash. If I would've known that Pizza Man Dan's purchased their ingredients at the 99 Cent store next door, I would havejust got a 7-Eleven Pizza and saved myself the disappointment. The garlic cheesy bread is literally just French bread, sliced inhalf with too much mozzarella cheese caked on top and not enough garlic powder sprinkled (possibly) somewhere underneath. Thecalzones, wow. First off. When I think calzone, I think of a Pizza (sauce,toppings and cheese) folded in half basically, we wereserved melts! A thin layer of canadian bacon (looked like lunch meat) with again way to much mozzarella cheese in one and theone with Italian sausage had maybe 8 tiny chunks of sausage and an over abundance of cheese as well. NO MARINARA, except for theside of it that came with each calzone and it was colder than the soda! Best part of the entire place? They have good ranch. Read more
Pizzas are always good, but their service sucks. There's always issues after you order. Like forgetting to actually start... cooking your order and not starting until I show up to pick it up and still wait for an extra 30min, than they realize that theyhaven't started to cook. Read more

ON 9/3 I placed an order, everything was PERFECT!!! I have never gotten pizza served at a table this fresh and hot!!! We opened... the box and steam came out of perfectly cooked thin crust pizza with generous toppings, fantastic sauce, hot and fantastic wingsand macaroni bites. The worst worst pizza we've ever had!!! We ordered and hoped for a nice M- thin crust. Instead PMD delivered a leather like,... burned, dry, salty dish that looked it was in the oven too long and waited 20 minutes before being delivered; it was cold andchewy, sauce and cheese was so dry that it couldn't be tasted. Very delicious ????and family friendly environment I have 7 children and we are happy and comfortable ????coming the staff... greets you when entering and leaving thanking you for coming. PizzaMan Dan?s is one of our go -to for pizza and wings. The pizza is great quality and toppings are fresh. The hot wings -... extra well done are a fav for us! Their ranch dressing is perfect ! I gave 4 stars because they are a bit more pricey, but otherthan that I definitely would recommend! Read more
Overall, I do really like this place. The pizza is usually pretty much perfect (as far as how I like it), and is the best I've... had in Ventura County, although on occasion it's rather dry and not cut great, and I rarely receive my pizza while it's stillhot. Customer service can also be hit-or-miss; I've had staff there brighten my day cause they were so friendly, but I've alsohad staff be rude and short with me for no apparent reason, so maybe don't go here if you are feeling sensitive that day.
