Update 5/16/21: large poke bowl is now $17.99 and our rice today was just mush, too much water and we did not enjoy it at all... :( Placed an order via DoorDash for pickup with a promo. Got the large poke bowl with ahi, spicy tuna, pulpo and unagi. Allwere delicious and spicy tuna was actually spicy and that's a good thing for me. Loaded up all the sides and toppings they haveand they were good too - crab and seaweed salad notably, crunch provided by crispy garlic and onion were lovely. I wasn't sureif it was a good thing to mix up all the different dressings they have because I couldn't tell them apart, or if they wereactually there! Sometimes this place is incredible, sometimes I can't believe I wasted my money. I've gone where it was incredibly yummy, loaded... up and very tasty, but I've also gone where the rice was bad tasting mush and they felt it was okay to serve it. One time therewas hair embedded in my fish and I couldn't stomach the rest of the food. But sometimes it's so good and I feel so lucky to haveso much tasty fish and the amount of topping variety feels wild I've gone well over 10 times and I guess I'd say 80% of thetime it feels like the best choice, 15% it's good enough, 5% it's sus. I guess what I'm saying is it's hit or miss here, you'lleither have a great bowl that makes you come back or you'll feel bad about your food choices and wish you went next door. AMAZING. I?ve lived in Ventura 2 years now and poke is my favorite. I was really disappointed in previous places I?ve tried so... when poke rainbow opened I was pumped to try it. Fish is fresh, service is amazing and workers (especially William!) are sokind and the portions are amazing. I?ve now been about 7 times and haven?t had a disappointing bowl yet. Read more
