Restaurant is small and can't accommodate a lot of people so arrive early for happy hour. Ours was party of 10, got here at... 7:30, waited for more than an hour so they could group a few tables together to accommodate our party, by then we were famished- docked 1 star for lack of initiative to seat our party - there was a tent for outdoor seating, but hostess said they don'thave enough servers so instead they made us wait 1+ hour, with 4 kids under 6. Once seated and orders place, they arrivedpretty quickly. Edamame to the rescue - prevented a lot of hangers and meltdowns. My neighbor recommended the Mexican roll, myhusband and I enjoyed it so much that we ordered another. Spicy tuna salad was a huge disappointment - salad was drenched withvery salty dressing, I was just too famished to complain, definitely not worth the price even though the server says it wasgood. My husband loved the California roll and did not care too much about the Philadelphia roll. The sesame was sooo goood andthe kids love it as much as the adults. I personally love sushi, and with this being the only sushi restaurant near me, I am glad that Sumo is the one. They have loads... of food to choose from, and a whole lot of sushi variety. Personally, I tried the classic Rainbow Roll and both times I leftcraving more. I highly recommend visiting! Read more

They have awesome happy hour every day 3-6pm and 8:00-close. Everything on the HH menu is basically under $10 - even my... delicious sake cocktail. Their salmon crunch roll and Laker roll (basically its a jalapeno popper made into a sushi roll- evenhas raw white fish on top) are up there on my list of favorites. I always order the Sensual Pleasure roll and it was great tosee it on the happy hour menu. I eat here probably at least twice a month. Makes me so happy! Read more
Was very delicious!! Everything was fresh & great table service from our waitress.
We went for the happy hour, the busboy and the runners were more friendlier than the servers. Don't forget to tip your... busboy!!! Food was good. I think I was too drunk to look at the receipt but for 3 adults and a kid at happy hour menu we werecharged full price. Read more
Came in as a group during closing hours to eat. We were sat down quite quickly and were taken care of. Until the time got closer... to closing did everyone started to increase the pace which resulted in some orders coming late or earlier for others. I had toask multiple times for a take out box and ended up walking up to the counter to ask for one. Other than priced being high,everything else was fine. Read more
We came here because one of my children recommended it Waited about 20 minutes for a table, when we were seated we were not... given menus, or settings When our initial server came to take our drink order we had to request menus 3 of us ordered hot tea;everyone at the table agreed that it tasted fishy A different server came to the table and told us she was our new server, sowe sent the tea back, and my wife ordered a soda; she brought two My wife had miso soup, which was decent We ordered a spicytuna roll, a salmon roll, an Alaska roll, and a tempura Cali roll; the tuna and salmon rolls were okay but a bit on the smallside The Alaska and tempura rolls easily fell apart, though the flavor was good The tempura roll didn't come out until afterwe'd finished all the other rolls We were provided plates and chopsticks, but no dishes for soy sauce An entirely differentserver came to the table to ask how our meal was; we let him know we were thoroughly displeased He said he would adjust thebill but when he brought it back it still had the teas They did make the bill right, but this was hands down the worst diningexperience I've had in a very long time I could not in good conscience recommend this establishment Read more
