Been here enough times now, time for the review! Upon walking in I was greeted immediately ( it's fairly small inside ) but the... sushi bar has a lot of seating. I've had a lot from here. But as others have said and still stands true. The avocado bomb hereis famous and a well known. You truly can't go wrong with ordering this. I've had plenty of their sushi and kitchen items. Someof my favorites are the soft shell crab, salmon tartar and well of course.. I already said it, avocado bomb. The fish is fresh.Never had a bad experience with their food here. The staff is very nice and welcoming. There is nice outside seating and plentyof parking ( lot right across the street ) So why 4 stars instead of 5? Well.. the inside is rather outdated. A bit of "design"clutter that isn't needed. Other then that? you can't go wrong here. You'll enjoy their sushi and the atmosphere. This is by farthe GO TO sushi spot in Ventura. Read more

Amazing food and great service.

Two words ... Avocado Bomb!!! Don't miss the most awesome item on the menu. While you are at it, enjoy some of the other great... rolls and dishes. 1 block off the beach and ready to eat. Read more

We had a lovely lunch here. The food was great and though there was only one waiter for the whole place, he was excellent.... Friendly, quick, and overall super enjoyable. Parking is tough to find around these spots! Go early, not for dinner. Read more

What a lovely little restaurant with super friendly staff where nothing is a problem and everything is easy. After a long day... of travelling food suggestions were really helpful vs aimlessly looking at a menu as we all sometimes do when we can?t decidewhat to eat! 2nd time I've been there. I don't live very close by. Last time I was here was at least over a year ago, and it is consistent... with how good experience I had the first time. This time, if anything, was better. Service was excellent, and the foodpreparation was perfect. One thing I don't like is sitting too long waiting for my next sushi roll. This place broughteverything out in a nice timely manner. What I like a lot about this place, is the location and the restaurant itself. It is anice comfortable type of sushi shack practically on the sand. There even tables outside to enjoy your meal, and space heaters ifit gets cold.
