Brown's at Village Green; a stylistic standout amidst a tapestry of ordinary. It's hard to have things that seem elegant when... situated in or attached to a mall, but Brown's carves out an experience and vibe all its own. The prodigious glass doors thatwelcome you give a sense of humble gentility. Each server, host or hostess wear sleek, black attire, making it easy to forgetthat this place rests next to a Starbucks and a Bay. The atmosphere is welcoming and modern. The music is never played tooloud, and the televisions are never intrusive to overall ambiance. Without a doubt, two of the menu choices that I always findmyself returning to, are the famed Butter Chicken, and the tantalizing Smokehouse burger! While on the topic of food, I'd liketo give credit to the establishment here for going that extra mile; my dear friend has Celiac disease, the staff at Brown'salways ensure to ask "preference, or allergy?" When learning of his ailment. To me this is a supportive gesture that bothprotects and validates people with varying complexities when it comes to dietary concerns. Love this place. Food, service and atmosphere deserve 5 starts however it is so frustrating going with an infant and only having a change table... in the women's washroom. There is a full separate handicap washroom for both men and women - yet no change table. No garbage cannear change table either - not surr where it is expected to throw it out without child falling off. If this was changed - I'ddefinitely give a 5 star. Read more

Great dinner with the family last night. Everyone loved their dishes. My husband and I each ordered the Dragon Bowl, my... mother-in-law had the 1/2 serving of the chicken fettuccine and my father-in-law had the fish and chips. All the entrees weresuper delicious. Great service every time I go there. The owner is is super down to earth and friendly. He is always clearing tables, walking... around the restaurant to make sure you are doing good. Our last visit was so awesome. Cameron was our server and she did afantastic job. Read more

Liked this place including the option to get a half order for things like nachos or fettuccine alfredo.

We always enjoy eating here. The staff is friendly and efficient, the beer and cocktails are cold and refreshing, and the food... is consistently tasty. I like the bowls, my husband likes the burgers and fish & chips. You really can?t go wrong here. Read more
