I was expecting my taste buds to explode after reading the reviews, but the food is only above average, in my opinion. There is... much better food out there. I think people like that this is one little shed type of building in a parking lot more than thefood that comes from it. It's not bad food. I don't want to give off that impression. It's just not mind blowing, or even closeto being mind-blowing like so many of the reviews might make it seem. I would definitely eat here again, but it wouldn't be myfirst choice. Read more
This is a small, unassuming little store front in the parking lot of home hardware. It was an interesting and unexpected type of... sushi burrito as it actually used tortilla wrap with sushi roll ingredients inside (most of the other restaurants selling "sushiburritos" essentially sell uncut rolls but they are wrapped in seaweed). We tried the California sushi burrito and the teriyakichicken sushi burrito. The California sushi burrito consisted of typical California roll ingredients such as imitation crabmeat, avocado, Japanese mayo and rice. It was delicious, but seemed to be lacking a little in the amount of imitation crab meat.The teriyaki chicken sushi burrito had battered and fried chicken pieces with other vegetables and rice. It didn't have enoughteriyaki sauce though, so it seemed more like just a normal crispy chicken wrap with Japanese rice. Pricing seems a littleexpensive for the size of the burritos, but I would come back as it is good road trip food for eating on the go. Read more
Delicious. Fast. Good prices too. Doesn't look like much from the outside but you will not be disappointed if you stop in. ... We had small taiyaki, California sushi burrito and Katsu curry. All fantastic. Read more
By far my favorite place to get lunch in Vernon. Prices are good and the food is incredible. It's such a joy to see KT's... beautiful smiling face every time I stop by. Vernon is very lucky to have KT and her business here. I already recommend her tomy friends and other people I meet too. Excellent food and service all around. Read more
Yummy!!!! A hidden little gem located in the Home Building Centre parking lot. We had Teriyaki Chicken Sushi Wraps! Bursting... with flavor, and I am definitely going back for more. Fan for life. Read more
We were in Vernon and were looking for a place to eat settled on here and it's great sorry didn't take a photo of the terryaki... hotdog ate it before thinking about a picture but also the chicken Katsu with Japanese curry on rice was excellent not superspicy for no reason. We will definitely be stopping by again when we are in Vernon. Read more
Great fusion. Had terryaki sushi borritto and wasabi mayo smokey. Yum. Daughters (13 and 16) enjoyed more traditional bento... box and veggie sushi burrito. Another yummy unexpectedly delightful fusion! Read more
We came for the bento boxes but when we arrived were told they have been taken off the menu for 3 yrs now due to not being able... to find actual takeout bento containers due to covid. Fine, but we would have appreciated an updated menu on their FB page. Three years seems like lots of time to update a menu with so many sold out (more like discontinued) items. So we settled onsushi burritos which were good but not what we came for. Read more
