Really good BBQ. The platter was great, and the pecan pie dessert was incredible!!!!!! Best pecan pie I?ve ever had, no joke!
If you like BBQ this is the place to go in Vernon. Located near an old Vernon CPR Station, makes for an attractive spot to have... a BBQ restaurant. I did find the signage a bit difficult to spot. Perhaps they can add another banner to the wall to make itmore obvious there is a restaurant here. A very welcoming atmosphere with an open Kitchen design, typical smokehouse smell wasnot overwhelming but let you know you were in a BBQ place. The staff were great and pleasant. the food is equally great, wethoroughly enjoyed the Moutine, I would definitely give this restaurant a try. Read more
A fantastic and quality barbecue shop. Had the pleasure of enjoying a big lunch here; we ordered a second full rack of ribs!... Welcoming, friendly, and spacious atmosphere. Their sauces were fantastic! Big Chief was our overall favorite but I also enjoyedtheir spiciest ones with the blueberry and chocolate undertones without being overbearing. The meats were fall of the bone,tender, and with the right amount of moisture. The corn bread cupcakes were a delight as well. Read more
Fabulous, high quality food, generous servings and brilliant, super friendly service! We very much enjoyed our Brisket and... Pulled Pork dishes. Top notch Brisket! The extra sauces were great too. The home made desserts were excellent and the light,baked cheesecake is to die for. The best cheesecake I have had at a restaurant period. We will definitely be coming back andlikely looking for an excuse to come to Vernon again just so that we can visit the Station Smokehouse. Read more
Today was my first time at The Station BBQ. I waited until today because I am a vegetarian, my partner flew back to the... Philippines 3 days ago, and I was bored on my day off from work. They were out of Frickles, but the French fries, onion rings,and peanut butter cup pie were all really good. I stopped crying pretty quick. I was talked out of the more expensive Frenchfries because they are meant for four people. Thanks for the heads up! I -never- like pie. . .but the peanut butter cup pie isthe exception! Awesome! The owner even came out to ask if the food tasted great. I was equipped with six sauces for my friesand onion rings. Fries are a big bowl for just three bucks (and it's the small size!) and the small onion rings were five.Cheaper AND tastier than fast food! Awesome! Dessert specials are 7 bucks. They don't have it printed on the menu. They have 5on special. Sodas are free refills but they didn't even charge me! Maybe guilt over no frickles or they thought I was cute? Mygood looks get me by. The food was perfection. Great flavors, perfectly smoked brisket and pulled pork. Loved all the amazing BBQ sauces to try... and everything is made in house. I loved that the owner brought over some more hot sauces. The peanut butter mud pie is alittle piece of heaven. Read more
The candied bacon is the bomb here! Smoked wings were delicious with a lot of bark (use the sauces), onion rings are fantastic,... brisket was en pointe. The coleslaw that came with the brisket fell a bit flat, as it was high in acidity but didn't taste likemuch. Service was great, and the pit master came out to touch base with guests during the meal. Excellent food, decent atmosphere, a little expensive. Ribs, pulled pork, sausage, and homemade lemonade we great. Four house... sauces are all really good. Will definitely be back, even though it's kinda expensive for what you get. Read more
