Our family have been eating at Vernon Pizza since they opened in the 70's. The food is usually very good. But our last 2 takeout... orders have been so-so. Tonight's pizza - double cheese, double mushroom showed a real lack of care in the making. Soggy,unappetizing and mushrooms in clumps on basically 2 pieces. I expect better. Huge disappointment. Whoever they hired to work the front was absolutely awful with customer service. When I called to order she was impatient and... snappy even though I knew what I wanted and the routine. When I came to pick up my food it was the same attitude. I grabbed anArizona iced tea which literally says 99 cents my price went up $2 I asked why as I put the drink back and she said "I dont makethe menu or prices I just do what my boss tells me to do". Just based on that interaction i wont be returning. I have grown upon vernon pizza and that is not the attitude i am used to from staff. Usually everyone is knowledgeable and kind. I was impressed on my first visit to Vernon Pizza. The interior is very nice. The food was delicious and the portions are large.... The young lady who waited on our group was very pleasant, helpful and courteous. I hope I have the opportunity to return here toeat. It was quite enjoyable. Read more

Awesome food and excellent service.The menu is robust with almost anything you would want. Everything is great but my favorite... is the Cajun pasta Alfredo. My favorite pizza is barbecue chicken but the house special is also tempting as well. Don't forgetthe wings and grinders. I could write for hours but this is definitely the place to hit in Vernon if you are in the area orpassing through on I-84. Read more
