Food is always great, but menu hasn?t been updated on the website in forever neither have the prices. Neither have the paper... menus. I get the need for price increases but would?ve been nice to know ahead of time. The only place that indicated anincrease in price was a sticky note on the glass they have up.????. Read more
Good quality empanadas. Bad service. There was only two customers in the store, I was behind the first customer who was being... served by one of the store workers. The other store worker did not acknowledge me until about 20 minutes, and still did nottake my order. When I finally insisted, the two workers and the one customer looked at me as though I was doing somethingwrong. Don't come here if you have limited time to order and eat their delicious, creative empanadas. Read more
Just trust me try this place out. For authentic cuban food and a large array of amazing empanadas from traditional chicken and... beef to items like pulled pork and sirloin cheesesteak. They also have desert empanadas and traditional cuban deserts. You wontbe disappointed but you will leave full. Read more
As a family, we ordered 4 different empanadas - BBQ Mac and Cheese, Buffalo Chicken & 2 Southwestern (chorizo). My favorite was... the buffalo chicken as I felt that had the most flavor. The southwest chorizo was also delicious. I wish the BBQ mac and cheesehad a bit more flavor/spice then it did. Only other thing was we didn't know which empanada was which until we bit into it so wehad to try them all and trade but other then that, would definitely eat again. Read more

I want to thank FIOS1 Restaurant Hunter and Christine Sloan for shining a light on this location. I drive on Bloomfield Ave... twice a day to and from work. I never knew some good food was close. We stop in today and I am so glad we did. We was greetedupon our entrance walked to the counter to place our order. My wife ordered two empanadas which ones I don't remember. I on theother hand ordered three one of each carnivore, vegetarian and sweet tooth. Buffalo chicken and gorgonzola, spinach and fetaalong with guava and cream cheese. Our daughter ordered two empanadas spinach and feta, kale, plantains and cheese. My wifeordered a side of sweet plantains. Now these empanadas are nothing to laugh about hefty hearty fulfilling. While waiting wewere asked if you would like to try bread pudding. Of course after our meal my wife got some bread pudding to go. I will to noother place for empanadas except Empanada Lady Cafe.
