Ordered parm chicken salad with crispy chicken and plain baked potato, after waiting 4mins for them to take my order in... drive-thru, then another 3 mins at window. Surprisingly and maybe a little sad for Wendy?s in general but this is the best Wendy?s I?ve been to in a while. I?m always a... little hesitant about restaurants in gas stations but this is a winner. Got home to eat and this is what they gave me. The entire potato is rotten out on both sides and then covered with cheese to... hide it. I?m not eating this and I?m not driving back to Verona to show them something they already know. You can?t cover arotten potato with cheese and expect people to eat it and not get sick or notice. I wish I could give it 0 stars. The staff is so slow and are on their phones. Zero cleanliness while making the food (no... gloves). In the middle of our order the chocolate frosty machine broke and they could NOT give us a refund. They said ?theydon?t do refunds here?. They were out of spoons for the frosts anyway and they took forever to give us our food. WORST WENDYSI?ve ever been to. DO NOT COME HERE! Reminder: They do NOT do refunds. First of all, it took forever to order, a good 20 minutes for the food, and the food itself wasn?t what we ordered. The fries... and tenders were cold, we didn?t get 2 sandwiches because the ?kitchen was closed? even though we paid for our food. And themanager told us he couldn?t help us. I like Wendy's; I stop at one fairly often. The hamburgers are good, fries passable, and the frostys make for a nice dessert. ... I recently found out that the chili is pretty good also. This location is conveniently located for travellers on I81, so Istopped. However the dining room isn't open, and I hate eating in my car, so I briefly considered the Mcdonalds next door buteventually decided to get back on the road and go to the next exit where their Wendy's has the dining room open. Dining area is closed due to being under staffed and the staff that is there is rude and unfriendly. If you like Wendy's then I... recommend traveling to staunton when service is great and the food is hot. Read more
