Nice place with good food. I visit Verona for work frequently and recently got to try this restaurant. Employees are nice and... the food is good. Restaurant is always busy so plan ahead if you plan to eat here. I have tried the firecracker chicken tacos,the fire cracker shrimp tacos, and the brisket tacos so far and they did not disappoint. Nice meal! The wife and I started with a bowl of excellent gumbo. Thick with sausage and spicy enough to tickle the ears but not... overwhelming. I had the brisket sandwich with blue cheese and bacon which was smoked delicious. A few bites a bit dry but stilltasty. Wife had ahi tuna tacos which she said were great. By far my favorite place to go eat! I love bbq and seafood so this place is perfect! They have really good brisket here! The... ribs are fantastic! Shrimp is really good! They have really good drinks here too! Also they were able to seat all 7 of us at alarge round table which was awesome! Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable! We had the 50/50 sandwich with sweet potato fries and the Friday fish fry. The sandwich had brisket, pulled pork, bacon, and... cheddar. It was amazing. The batter on the fish was light and crispy. It was delicious. I had a lake Louie warped speed scotchale and the wife had her standard a southern comfort old fashioned sweet. Overall it was a satisfying meal. Will do again. Read more

I <3 this BBQ. Ate here on my way through the Madison area and enjoyed it. Pictured is the BBQ lunch special ($16) with pulled... pork, spare ribs, hush puppies, and sweet potato fries (+$1). It was all very good. They have 4 homemade BBQ sauces as well.Listed in order from my favorite to least favorite: spicy whiskey, sweet, smokey, and mustard (I actually LOVE mustard, but notas a BBQ base). It?s not the cheapest or best valued BBQ I?ve ever found, but I?d pay $16 for this lunch combo again in aheartbeat. Give them a try in the Madison area! Read more
