I have played this course a handful of times in the last year, and EVERY SINGLE TIME, pace of play is a problem. I regularly... wait 15 minutes on each hole, which ends up making each hole last 25-30 minutes. Do the math… that’s 8 hours to play 18holes of golf which is absolutely ridiculous. The course needs a ranger to enforce pace of play and the patrons on the courseneed to be reminded of golf etiquette. Most recently I was stuck behind 3 foursomes of high school girls (and I only includethis to note that whoever is coaching the golf team needs to teach their players basic golf rules and etiquette- I played golfevery day when I was in high school and I knew to let people play through). They took a break at the turn so we were able tojump one group and ended up skipping to hole 14 where it was open and only playing 4 holes. When I brought up my concerns to thepro shop the staff couldn’t get away from me fast enough. I don’t live in Woodford County and this will be the last time Ispend my tourism dollars at the Woodford Club, which is a shame because the course is nice. Save yourself the frustration and gosomewhere else. Read more
First time to play here. Was a fantastic course. Par 71 cause it only has I think 2 par 5s on the whole course and several par... 3s on the back 9. Will definitely be back. Very nice views of farmland and horses from the fairways as well. Staff was great aswell. 5 stars for the course but about a 1.5 star for my golf game. Played absolutely terrible that round. We had dinner here and the food was great! Our server was attentive and was able to answer any questions we had about the... different entrees. The wings were very good. My wife had the chicken Piccata and she loved it! I had the grilled Gulf shrimp andit was great as well. We had the cheesecake for dessert and both agreed it was one of the best we’ve had. A great place if youare looking for some great food and in a quiet setting. Highly recommend! We will be back to try some of the other entrees onthe menu. Read more
Overall the course is fun. The greens were in great shape for this time of year. Unfortunately the fairways are still dormant... Bermuda. Can’t wait to go back when the grass and trees are alive and the wind isn’t blowing a stead 20 mph. Read more
Delicious food, wonderful music, and romantic atmosphere...perfect place for Valentine’s Day ?
Great find in Woodford county on our way to Woodford distillery. Went at lunch, middle of week and we were the only ones there... besides another couple. Service was great and food was super tasty! And the portions were large! Drinks were not too shabby aswell. We enjoyed this quaint lunch spot at the golf course. Thank you! Read more
Simply incredible. Our first time here for a Mother's Day dinner. I wanted the loaded tater tot appetizer and the wife wanted... the spinach artichoke dip and both were amazing, especially the tater tots. We tried a couple cocktails and again, delicious.Our entrees were for her the smoked pork belly mac and cheese with salad. I was lucky to get a single taste before it was goneand it was great, I wish I had ordered it. I had the shrimp dinner, I chose fried with parmesan coated Yukon gold potatoes andinstead if veggie medley I opted for the beer battered onion rings. So filling, the shrimp, although only six, we're gigantic.Each one easily the six of 2-3 regular shrimp you'd find somewhere else. Even though we were stuffed we had to try the s'moresdip dessert because we've never seen it anywhere else and it was the perfect end to a perfect dinner. It's actually the onlything I got a picture of. The rest was gone at soon as it hit the table. Read more
Great family golf club. 18 hole course that is fun to play. Pool pickleball and a.great restaurant.
