We took a bourbon tour with another couple and booked this bed and breakfast for a night while traveling. We are so happy we... stayed here. The rooms were large. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were well appointed with fluffy towels and greatbath products. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was excellent! Breakfast the next morning was also a treat. It trulyfelt like staying with family. The owner was friendly but not obtrusive and seemed to genuinely care that we enjoyedourselves.The location is also within walking distance to the downtown area. On our vacation to Kentucky, we did little to no planning prior to our arrival. Our vacations are very much a “jump in the... truck and hit the road” kind of experience. All that to say, we did not expect to fall in love with the Woodford Inn the waywe did. Staying here definitely took us by complete surprise. Never having booked a true bed and breakfast before, we had acliche idea of what to expect, but the Woodford Inn blew those notions out of the water. The fact that we were a last minutearrival (reserved the room an hour before showing up), I didn’t expect the full experience to apply, but everyone here ensuredthat we had a great stay! I was so grateful we booked for two nights as opposed to just one! The room was adorable (we werewarned it would be small, we definitely disagreed), the quality of the food for dinner was top notch (best Chicken AlfredoI’ve ever had), and the quaint bar was just the perfect cherry on top. The entire staff, from the owners, to the servers, tothe bartenders really embody that “when you’re here, you’re family” mentality — they know how to give the bestcustomer experience. Prices are right on par for the quality this place provides, we felt like we got a great deal! I know if wefind ourselves back in the quaint little town of Versailles, there is no where else I plan to stay, we’ll even make advancereservations in the future! Read more

We had the best time at our friends wedding!!!! Cannot recommend this place enough. My husband and I will be back for a... staycation for sure! Also, being able to end the night in a jacuzzi tub was just what this mama needed after dancing andcelebrating all night. Loved everything! Staff, food, accommodations and grounds. It was perfection! I would also like to notethat there was an incident that occurred, that was of no fault to the venue whatsoever, that Richard and his staff handledextremely well and made sure that it did not affect my friends evening by immediately addressing it. Richard was extremely hospitable to our cycling group, serving us breakfast after our ride. The beds were very comfortable and... AC and fan combo were just right for sleeping. The new owner Richard has done a fantastic job restoring this 100 year old Inn back to its glory days and deserves a visit.... There is a quaint little bar within the Inn as well as a 24/7 breakfast bar and a full dining room. Nice place to stay whiledoing the Bourbon Trail! Read more
We were with a group of 10 long term friends and retired business partners. The Inn is a wonderful place to stay. Richard went... out of his way to accommodate our group’s schedule. We loved the dinners and the friendly bar, Krista is a great bartender.Richard’s Dinning Room Food has to be the best in the entire area. The rooms are very nice with period furniture, the bed wasvery comfortable. The history of the Inn adds to the ambience of this 100+ year old building. This was the 3rd stay for my wifeand I and it won’t be our last. So if you want to hit the bourbon trail or just horse around then stay at the Woodford Inn Read more
