Reviews for Wallace Station Deli and Bakery in Versailles, KY
Good flavor on the pimento cheese and ham sandwich. It would have been nice to have some local chips instead of the Lays, so... maybe you can splurge for an original side instead. We enjoyed the fried pickles as an appetizer, which were perfectly crisp andseasoned to go well with ranch dressing. The atmosphere and meal were part of our quintessential Kentucky experience, and wewould definitely come back! Read more
The drive and scenery are amazing. You might spend $10-20 per person. However, the food is superb. They provide inside and... outside seating, and it is well worth the trip to eat here. Read more
Guy Fieri named their Brown Bourbon burger top 5 he's ever had. Middle of nowhere small diner with loads of history in the heart... of horse country. Excellent food. Be prepared for a small line because it's always packed but we'll worth it Read more
I wanted to like this more. My burger was ok, but nothing special. The pie was about the same. My girlfriend?s BLT was kind of... weak. Read more
Delicious food. Pleasant atmosphere. Noticed that this place also does pick up (large order was picked up by the fire... department while we were there, which was well organized by the staff). Read more
Great sandwiches and baked goods in a historic building. This restaurant is off the beaten place, but the drive through... Lexington horse country was pleasant. This restaurant has a lot of baked goods from Midway Bakery. Note: Wallace Station Deliand Bakery and Midway Bakery are owned by the same people. Read more
This little piece of history is fascinating. The staff were very open and friendly and the food was excellent. Highly... recommended! Ham and Brie sandwich with chili. BLT with chicken and mushroom soup. And the Hot Brown sandwich. Read more
Great sandwiches and burgers in an out of the way location. Very attractive location in a historic building. It's completely... worth the drive to try out their selection. The Big Brown Burger is the star and if you have a huge appetite this is the way togo. I also strongly recommend the chicken sandwich. It's a grown up Chick FIL A done in a pickle brine and served on a deliciouskaiser roll. Finally the Cuban is a bit non traditional but really tasty with a lot of pork and a good panni press bread. Service is quick the kitchen is open and everything smells delicious. Plenty of outdoor seating when the weather is good but alittle cramped inside on cold or rainy Days as there is just enough space for a few booths and tables. Breakfast options gotill 11. Parking is free in a gravel lot. Expect to spend around 12 to 16 dollars maybe a bit more with a drink. Read more
