When we got there, the restaurant wasn't very busy. We stood at the door for a few minutes before we were seated. Once we were... seated, the waiter took our drink order. He was gone for a long time. We sat there for several minutes before anyone broughtchips and salsa to the table. We finally received our drinks, I ordered a margarita and my wife ordered water. The margarita wasnot very good, but I wasn't going to send it back because it was apparent by this time that there was only three waiters in thebuilding and it appeared that our waiter was either new or was not very good because he wasn't keeping up with the other tablesin our area. The table behind us was already complaining about their order not being correct. We waited and waited and waitedfor our food to finally come. We ran out of chips and salsa and finally another waiter came to give us some more chips andsalsa. While we were waiting, they seated approximately 12 people at one table in our area. Those people were complaining theycouldn't get chips and salsa either. When we got our food, my wife's food was barely warm. It was closer to room temperature. AsI said before, we weren't going to send it back because it was evident we would have had to wait another long time to get ourfood. I ate what I could of my food and my wife didn't even eat half of what was on her plate because by this time, the food waspretty much cold. When we got up to pay our bill, my wife told the person that was at the cash register, that her food was coldand we couldn't get refills on chips and salsa and we had to wait for a long time to even get our food. The man at the cashiersaid that nobody else had complained so he didn't see any problem. He didn't seem concerned that we had a bad experience. Wepaid our bill and left. After that, I will never ever go to Veracruz again. To top it off, I was awake all night long from beingsick in the bathroom from eating their terrible food. Yummy!! This place was so fast from walking in the door to getting a table and ordering food. Waiter was nice and fast never... even had to ask for a refill. Good was delicious!! Read more
Both my husband's and my food was so greasy we didn't finish them. Our plates were still full of food when we asked for our... check. The frozen margarita was bland which I don't know how you do that. When we stay in this area again we will not be comingback. Our waiter he was very nice. Read more
WHY do people eat here? The servings ARE Soo SKIMPY! THIS is their lunch chicken Fajata... (picture brought on one plate...not... the usual heated skillet) Never has any other Mexican restaurant served this meager portions! And same prices as goodrestaurants, actually a little more expensive than others. They wont see us again!!! Read more
This is the only mexican place in town, so it is very nice that it is a nice mexican place serving delicious staples of american... mexican cuisine. If you are into large burritos they have a fajita burrito that is pretty large, and tasty. Read more
A delicious meal with a rather unique environment. The interior does not fall into what you would call your traditional Mexican... restaurant. Staff was very friendly and wait was not bad at all! Definitely worth checking out some time. Read more
The food is good, but they really need to stick to servers who can speak and understand English. My order was totally messed up.... Then each time he tried to correct it he added that item to the bill. It was extremely frustrating. Read more
