This review is for brunch on Sunday. Service was great; everyone was pleasant and attentive. I got a drink called Honey bubbles... which was a good combination of sparkling wine, Cathead honeysuckle vodka and lemon - definitely recommend. Food was okay. We came in on a quiet night after the holidays while traveling down I-20. The owner and I spent a few minutes discussing the... merits of craft beer before my wife and I sat down to look at the menu. She ordered the red beans and rice with ham and sausage,I chose the catfish. You're going to come away fat and happy. If my mom and grandma opened a restaurant, this is what it wouldbe. Lots of interesting artwork on the wall, tasty food, and a nice selection of very good beers on tap. If you're passingthrough or staying a bit longer, Martin's is worth the side trip. Read more

I remember this place when it was a house during my childhood. The decor and setup are amazing! Artwork is a true conversation... starter (it would be beneficial if the servers were able to discuss it), and nostalgic pieces used for decoration remind me ofmy childhood. These elements were great! The food was bland and not appetizing. We ordered the chicken salad and the server(Jay) warned us that others have said it is "dry." Decided to give it a chance, and we wished we had not. It was as dry as theserver warned. The amount of lettuce included was skimpy, and a spring mix would be better tasting. Also, a soft roll on theside would be great. We also ordered the potato salad. It was ice-cold and disgusting (not because of the coldness - althoughless chilled would be better). It's like the cooks do not like mayonnaise (the common ingredient that would help tremendouslywith the taste of both salads). Martins, if you have been told by several customers that your chicken salad is dry - then changethe recipe! And please rethink the potato salad as well. One more thing, our server had a very hairy upper lip which wasunappealing when looking up at him... especially when bringing the food. This place has potential to be a go-to-spot inVicksburg, but they may want to put some attention into the menu and spend some time ensuring the servers can discuss the menuin an appealing, appetizing manner. This was my first visit. It was after 1 when we got there. The atmosphere is calming, serene. The food is good for the price:... The Cuban & Philly cheese steak. The service is okay. The wait time after ordering is minimal. But we were there after the lunchcrowd. Read more

Owners are wonderful people. We went to see about grabbing an early lunch and found out they hosted a Sunday Brunch. They were... able to squeeze us in and were very friendly. Food was delicious and it was quiet enough to enjoy time out with my husband. Theyhave different menus for brunch, weeday lunch and dinner. Will be visiting again. Read more
