Best hot dog I?ve ever had! The bun was fresh and the coney was cooked to perfection. My hubs loved Mike?s hot sauce the most.... Our beers were ice cold and Mike even dressed them with salt and a lime. Great conversation with both Liz and Mike, coulda hungout here all day! Read more

They do a great job on the Coney dogs here. I stop by once a week and enjoy one. This is the Detroit coney.
Expensive - and cash/check only. Food ok. Little to no veggie meal options - so don't come if you like anything other than... processed meat. Service not friendly. Eh - better options in town. (Also, originally gave this place 2 stars because, accordingmy husband the hotdog was edible - but, after owner's response to my review... well, pretty much demos the vibe here.) Read more
Food tastes alright - but service was lacking. Awkward to enter and not be greeted, then deal with curt replies to questions... (such as where the bathroom is located - and if it was in use). Also - really pricey for what you get. Rudeness is apparentlythis place's shtick - but they don't pull it off well. Kinda gross and dingy inside - outside seating area is ok. Should haveavoided based on the replies to reviews the owner has been posting... Nothing special here. Possibly better for locals? Maybethere is a local's discount that makes this place worth it? Good food. Great shade under the old tree. Nice people. I could do without the right-wing politics plastered all over.
I miss this place. Great soup
